Davis-Standard’s pipe, profile and tubing extruders and systems are engineered to manufacture tight

tolerance products with minimal downtime. Extruders are available in a range of L/D ratios in both

air-cooled and water-cooled variants, and combine technology with functional design to process just about

any thermoplastic material. Systems can be customized to meet the processing rates and requirements

for any pipe, profile, or tubing process.

TECHNICAL CENTERSWe have fully-staffed technology center in the United States with single and twin screw extruders available for product development, screw rheology, and control technology. Manufacturing of pipe, profile, and tubing equipment is based at our headquarters in Pawcatuck, Connecticut, USA, and our affiliate in England, D-S Brookes Ltd. Production scale and laboratory equipment is available to analyze various processes. A team of experienced and knowledgeable process engineers and screw design specialists collaborate with customers to evaluate process parameters and implement feedscrew technology best suited for specific applications.

SCREWS FOR EVERY APPLICATIONScrew sizes range from 3/4 inch (19mm) to 12 inches (305mm) for single screw, 40mm to 140mm for counter-rotating twin screw, and 32mm to 130mm for co-rotating fully intermeshing twin screw extruders. Screws, including smooth and groove feed designs, can be customized for specific applications.

GEMINI® PARALLEL TWIN SCREW EXTRUDERCounter-rotating extruder for PVC pipe, window, fence, and custom profile markets. This extruder can process larger amounts of resin per screw revolution because of longer screws and a higher torque capacity.

GEMINI® CONICAL TWIN SCREW EXTRUDERCompact counter-roatating extruder featuring low rpm screws with internal sealed water-cooling systems for processing RPVC powder formulations. Widely used for custom window profiles, vertical blinds, capstock coextrusion, materials development, and quality control laboratory usage.

All systems are available with high performance extruders, DSB® feedscrews, controls, and a wide range of downstream equipment.
