Horse Project Group: Mark Your Calendar! Do you love horses and want to know more about them? Then the Horse Project group is the perfect place for you to be! 4-H offers many opportunies for horse-enthusiasts to learn more about equine, compete in fun events, and make life-long friends. Join our For-estry Judging Team, where we will work with a TN Certified Forester to study leaf, insect, wood, and disease identifica-tion, as well as other forestry-related topics. We will be meeting once per week for 5 weeks on Wednesdays, August 8th – September 5th, from 4:30-6:00pm. Member Spotlight!

Two students from McGavock High School, Jai’lah Richardson and Chris Ford, represented Davidson County 4-H this month at the Citizenship Washington Focus held in Washington D.C. There they joined 8 other students from across the state of Tennessee to discuss citizenship and other topics with about 300 students from across the United States. We are very proud to have such outstanding and active members!
