  • Work History (contd) O 1999 2002Registered Nurse, Vanderbilt Emergency Dept. I worked as a staff nurse in the Emergency Dept. If you want to see team worktheres your example. When things go bad, I would trust any one of them with my life and that of my family. I loved working the trauma bays. I felt at home in the ED and enjoyed the interactions with patients and families. I also enjoyed working as preceptor for newly hired staff, paramedics, and nursing students.

  • Work History (contd) O 1996 1999Registered Nurse, Vanderbilt University Medical Center Worked as staff nurse in neuro-surgical ICU, performing such tasks as patient care with complex monitoring, and also served as charge nurse. I was fresh out of nursing school, so this was very intimidating at first. The sickest of the sick. It was a very stressful place to work, but I will cherish the memories and the experience. Oh the stories I have.
