The witch went out to get somefirewood. David looked around then hestepped on a loose tile and then hereached down and picked the tile up. Helooked down and saw a lever. He pulledthe lever and the bookshelf moved. Hesaw a hole in the wall. He went in.

David saw bottles and bottles ofpotions. He saw a recipe book and startedlooking though it. It said how to turnsomeone into a frog, how to put someoneto sleep, and how to destroy witches."Perfect," he said. David thought for a moment. He hadan idea. He ran out of the place and thenthe passage closed. He ran into thekitchen and opened the cupboard. He saweverything he needed except for thebristle. He threw all into the pot.

David went to the closet and sawthe witch's broom so he took the bristleand threw it in the pot. "What will I mixit with?" he thought. He used his swordand mixed it in. He poured it in a cup thenthe witch came, "Pour water in the pot,"she said. "But wait, I have a drink foryou," said David. The witch drank theliquid and she turned into dust. Therewere no missing people again.
