2. Introduction

a. Company History Datatechnet started in May 2008, by repairing computers and making websites as

the main activity. A year later, the company progresses by offering local area

network installation service and developing small scale web-based systems for

private companies in partnership with DCIS company. In 2010, our marketing

executive brought in government projects which led to the expansion of services

and manpower to the current state. Now the company has loyal customers in

Labuan Federal Territory and Kota Kinabalu.

b. What the company does The company offers software development services as is main core business. Other

services include supply, installation and maintenance of ICT peripherals, ICT training

and website/portal development. Main target market consists of federal and state

government departments.

a. Business concept Develop software and IT automation for industry and government sector.

Bumiputra company and has done business experience with federal government

sectors.

c. Service pledge We deliver our services according to customer’s specification but we will also

suggest options that may be of interest.

5. Products

a. E-Panel Perubatan

This system was developed for Perbadanan Labuan Human Resource Department

and is currently used until now. It was developed using Coldfusion and Microsoft

SQL 2005 technology. The primary function is to track all eligible Perbadanan Labuan

staff medical expenses at all registered panel clinics in real-time. This ensures that

the Human Resource Department reaches the allocated budget.

b. Web-Based Digital Signage

This system was developed for LDA Holdings Sdn Bhd at their ferry terminal in

Labuan Federal Territories. As it is web-based, it is light, affordable and easy to use.

This system can be used at airports, office lobbies or bus terminals to display

schedules and advertisements.

6. Services

a. Website/Portal/Web-Based System/Database Development

We have developed web-based systems in PHP and Coldfusion, database structure

using MySQL, MSSQL and Postgre using Apache and IIS Web Server.

b. WLAN/LAN point Installation

We have installed network points with government department standard at Jabatan

Bomba W.P. Labuan, and with affordable small medium enterprise companies

standard such as Atikah Enterprise Office.

c. Fingerprint Attendance System Installation

We have ongoing Fingerprint Attendance rental contract for 3 years with Jabatan

Kerja-Raya W.P. Labuan since 2010.

d. CCTV System Installation

We have installed CCTV systems for Perbadanan Labuan with one-year warranty and

free maintenance.

e. Security Guard Management System Installation

We also supply security guard management system which uses handheld smart

devices which can be integrated with CCTV and door access systems.

f. ICT Training Course

We have conducted Hands-On ICT training such as Coldfusion and MSSQL for ICT

Department in Perbadanan Labuan. Our trainer has experience training government

staff, students, and public community.
