The new PL (PowerLine) unmanaged PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) switch range from Weidmuller provides a flexible solution for applications requiring

PoE power in an industrial environment. Complying with the 802.3af PoE standard, each PL series switch behaves as PSE (Power Sourcing

Equipment), automatically detecting if a PD (Powered Device) is connected to any of its 4 PoE ports and supplying power over the Ethernet cable.

A comprehensive range of models are available covering most application requirements, including applications requiring Multimode or Singlemode

Fibre interfaces.

Weidmuller also offer the WaveLine managed switches complete with fully integrated Digital I/O capabilities. Supporting all the regular management

features of the standard product, the WaveLine managed switches with I/O provide an additional 2 x digital input and 2 x digital output channels for

applications requiring simple status monitoring and alarm acknowledgement. The I/O can be controlled using standard SNMP communications and

simple SNMP traps can be configured to monitor the status of the devices in field.

Bulk Fibre Optic Cables

Within the Weidmuller FCP range is a comprehensive selection of bulk fibre optic installation cables suitable

for a variety of applications and environments. The product range covers both Multimode OM1 (62.5um)

and OM3 (50μm) as well as Singlemode fibre requirements. Various construction types are available

including Indoor/Outdoor Riser, Breakout, Milspec and Armoured options in capacities from 2 to 12 cores

(higher core densities available on request).

All FCP cables can be supplied pre-terminated with a selection of fibre optic connectors with ot without a

pulling sock for additional protection during installation.

Indoor / Outdoor Riser Cable

For general purpose applications where the fibre installation is relatively well mechanically protected such as being supported on cable tray or ladder.

With riser cable construction, individual fibre cores are surrounded by a 900μm tight buffer jacket.

Indoor / Outdoor Breakout Cable

For heavier duty general industrial applications where a more durable and robust installation is required. With breakout cable, each 900μm jacketed

fibre is additionally over-sleeved to further protect the fibres at the point of break-out. This provides additional mechanical strength and durability for

applications subject to higher mechanical stresses and potential movement during and after installation.

1-Stage Overvoltage Protection Module - JACKPAC®

� The overvoltage protection is plugged in to protect the sensitive electronics in the signalling circuit.

� The suppression circuit with varistor suppresses the induced voltage in solenoid valves.

� The PE connection leaves the housing via a
