v The New Academic Session 2015-16 commenced on 6th April, 2015 for classes VI to IX & XII and on 13th April, 2015 for class X.

v The total strength of the school is 1878. The Hostel strength is 225.

v MMPS has been conferred the prestigious ISA (International School Award, 2015-18). It is a bench marking scheme that accrediates schools for exemplary practices of Internationalism in School.

v Nidhi Agarwal, Divyansh Devarriya, Diksha Agrawal, Yogita Khandelwal, Katyaoni Mukherjee, Pranjal Lakhotia, Meet Singh Chauhan, Romil Joshi and Pratyush Jain of class XII Science visited Inspire Internship Science Camp organized by Department of Science and Technology (DST) in collaboration with Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU), Udaipur from 5th to 10th April, 2015 wherein the students got updated with the latest professional machines and were enlightened by the lectures of eminent personalities. Each received a Bag Pack, Register, CD and a Certificate of Participation.

v Nandinee Bairathi (IX B) and Charchit Jain (VIII D) were awarded Silver and Bronze Medal respectively in Junior Category in 'The Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition -2015' based on the theme 'A Young Commonwealth' organised by Royal Commonwealth Society and supported by 'Cambridge University Press' amongst more than 13000 entries from over 600 schools and 49 commonwealth countries. Aditya Basu (VIII D) and Isha Singh Ranawat (VIII A) received Certificates of Participation. These entries were uploaded on the website on 21st April , 2015.

v Gulnaaz Rasiya (XI D) and Jayshree Teli (XI C) escorted by Dr Madhubala Purohit (PGT, Biology) presented research study in the category 'Environmental Management' in a two day Mentoring Camp on 'Innovation and Research in Science' organized by IRIS (Innovation and Research in Science) on 27th and 28th June, 2015 at FDRC (Faculty Development and Research Centre), Army Public School, New Delhi. 17 teams from all over India were guided by renowned scientists of the country on 'How to make a Project more Innovative'. MMPS was the only school from Rajasthan to participate in it.

v On the 31st Anniversary of Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), Xpress Minds Edutainment (Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi organized INTACH India Heritage Quiz, 2015 for the students from Classes VII to X. 49 teams comprising two students each from 12 schools participated in the City Round conducted under 'INTACH Udaipur Chapter' at Maharana Mewar Public School, Udaipur on 23rd July, 2015.

v A team of 12 student delegates escorted by Ms Yojna Sharma and Ms Parul Mehta ( Department of English ) par t ic ipated in VOX POPULI DEBATING PHENOMENON at Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls' School, Jaipur on 30th and 31st July, 2015. Gaurav Pratap Singh (XII D) won the Most Promising Speaker Delegate Award in the Ancient Times Debate and received a Medal and a Certi�cate . e Debate aimed to gauge the young minds thought process on current issues and social awareness. e participants of Junior and Senior Group comprised Arjun Bharadwaj (VI D), Charchit Jain and Aditya Basu (VIII D), Shishir Bairathi (X D), Himadri Sharma (XI Commerce), Gaurav Pratap Singh (XII Science), Yash Kothari (XII

v Tanmaya Maheshwari (IX C) escorted by Mr Anil Paneri (Lab. Demonstrator) participated in Inter-School Hindi Essay Writing Competition organized by 'Sarv Dharm Maitri Sangh' held at 'Ryan International School' Udaipur on 1st August, 2015. e topic was 'India Today and its Future'.

v ‘Lingua Fiesta' (English, Hindi- Debate, Extempore, Essay Writing Competition) was organized by G.D. Goenka International School on 5th August, 2015. 10 schools participated. 36 students from classes VI to X escorted by Ms Varsha Saruparia (TGT, English), Ms Anita Joshi (TGT, Hindi) & Mr Anil Paneri (Lab. A team comprising 10 students escorted by Ms Lori Paliwal (TGT, Hindi) participated. Shazia Khan (XII Arts) and Neha Saxena (X A) bagged II and III Position respectively in 'Word-Virus'-Scrabble Competition. Khozema Kutub Biscuitwala (XII E) and Palash Kumawat (XII D Science) secured III Position in 'Release the Shutter- Photography Shoot'.

v A group of 18 student delegates escorted by Ms Parul Mehta (TGT, English) and Mr Hemant Kumar Jain (TGT, Sanskrit) participated in India International Model United Nations (IIMUN), Bhilwara Chapter at Sangam School of Excellence, Bhilwara from 7th to 9th August, 2015. It aimed to educate participants about current events, topics in International Relations, Diplomacy and the United Nations Agenda. e participants' role played as diplomats representing a nation or NGO in a simulated session of various committees of the UN such as Security Council, the General Assembly etc. e delegates researched about a country, took on roles as diplomats investigated international issues, debated, deliberated, strengthened their negotiating skills, consulted and then developed consensus and provided viable solutions to world problems. e delegation comprised Akshi Jain, Chitrang Mathur (X E), Lakshita Chauhan, Mandvi Ranawat, Rahul Choudhary (X F), Ujjwal Soni, Neha Saxena, Ananya Jauhari (X A), Mriganika Singh Tanwar, Kanak Goswami, Nishant Nagori (X G), Vaibhavi Hada, Jaiveer Singh Rao, Ojaswini Badhwar (X D), Vedant Bordia, Swayam Bhargava, Bahlah Sethjiwala (XC) and Yash Bhatnagar (VIIIC). Pareekh (TGT, Hindi) and Ms Pratima Paliwal (TGT, So.Science) participated in 'Lady Anusuiya Singhania Memorial All India Debate' and 'Sir Padampath Singhania Memorial All India Science Quiz Competition' held at Gotan from 30th August to 1st September, 2015. Himadri Sharma(XIB) bagged II Position and received a Cash Prize of Rs 5500. Mriganika Singh Tanwar bagged II Motivational Prize of Rs 4000. Himadri Sharma(XI B) and Mriganika Singh Tanwar (XG) participated in English Debate. Siddhi Banthia (XIB) and Shivangi Paliwal(XIB) participated in Hindi Debate Competition and were appreciated by all. Overall MMPS secured III Position amongst 27 schools. Katyaoyni Mukharjee (XII D) and Arpit Purohit (XIID) participated in Science Quiz Competition.

v 10 Personnals from Rotary Club of Udaipur Heritage visited MMPS on 8th September, 2015. Rtd. Dr Kartikey Kothari addressed the teachers and the students of classes VIII and IX. He appraised them with corneal disease and blindness caused by it and motivated the gathering for Eye Donation. ey were welcomed by Ms Manju Chouhan (VP).

v A team comprising 40 girls of MMPS escorted by Ms Garima Joshi (TGT, Music) and Mr Prem Shankar Verma (Tabla Player) witnessed soulful Dance Performance by Ms Madhusmidha Mohanti in an Oddissi Dance Programme held at Heritage Girls School on 10th April, 2015 organized by Spic Macay.

v Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture amongst Youth (SPIC MACAY), Udaipur Chapter organized an Indian Classical Instrumental Music Concert at MMPS for classes VI to IX on 18th April, 2015. Pandit Ronu Majumdar, a renowned Flutist played Raag Desh and Vande Mataram. He was accompanied by Mr Ajit Pathak on Tabla and Mr Kalpesh Shachala on �ute.

v To enrich the spoken English of the students, English movies were showcased on Saturdays.

v Social Science Week was celebrated from 20th to 25th April, 2015. On 20th April, Collage Making Competition on the theme 'Living Heritage'was held in the Art School for the students of classes VI to VIII. e theme was 'Living Heritage'.

v 'Smile Torch' visited MMPS on 16th April, 2015 wherein Dr Prabhuraj B.K, Professor & Head of Orthodontics, Darshan Dental College and Hospital, Udaipur educated the Junior Students with the Importance of Oral Health and Hygiene through PPT in the Library .It is an awareness project initiated across the country by Dr Nikhilesh Vaid, President, Indian Orthodontics Society, Mumbai.

w Rangoli and Poster Making Competition were organized for classes VI to IX. In Poster Making, Rinjal Mehta (IX B) stood I, Saiyma Khanam (VII C) and Harshvendra Singh Ranawat (VIII D) secured II Position . Sneha Chawat (IX A) and Kushan Karira (VII E) bagged III Position.

w In Rangoli, Kanak Goswami (X G) secured I Position, Vanshika Tibrewal (VIII E) and Linsha Prajapati (IX B) got II Position whereas Lara Teli (X E) and Shere Banu Guradwala (IX A) bagged III Position.

w On the 'Earth Day' i.e. 22nd April, a Special Assembly was conducted by class IX A. Ms Gayatri Tiwari, Scientist from Department of Human Development and Family Studies, College of Home Science, Udaipur expressed her views on Skills of Quality Life.

w On 25th April, 2015 a movie titled 'India Wins Freedom' based on 'Freedom Struggle' was shown to the students of class VIII in the Library which was also the part of Social Science Week.

v 6 student delegates escorted by 2 teachers from Jodhamal Public School, Jammu visited MMPS in a Student Exchange Programme from 1st to 8th May 2015. ey were welcomed by Mr Sanjay Datta (Principal, MMEI) in a Special Assembly.

e team visited MMPS and MMVM. ey had an enriching experience in music, dance, art and photography classes. e scenic beauty of the city left them mesmerized. e team enjoyed their stay in Udaipur.

v Formative Assessment-1 for Classes VI to X was conducted from 4th to 9th May, 2015.

v 52 hostellers escorted by Dr Om Singh Chundawat (Dean Academics) went to Shikarbadi on 10th May, 2015 to witness the IPL Match on big screen which was played between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians sponsored by Vodaphone. A Quiz for the audience was conducted in which Akshya Sharma (IX E) won an Intex Aqua I in a Lucky Draw Contest.

w A team comprising 44 students of class IX visited National Gallery of Modern Art and National Museum at New Delhi on 23rd April, 2015 in an Educational Trip wherein they learnt about history and archaeology of Ancient, Medieval and Modern India. ey were escorted by Mr Shekhar Kumar Jha (TGT, Social Science), Mr Bhupendra Paliwal (Lab. Assistant) and Ms Meenal Sharma (PGT, Physical Education).

v 43 students from classes VIII to X escorted by Ms Veena Sharma( TGT, Computer) and Ms Anchal Saxena (TGT, Science) visited an Old Age Home 'Shukhdham' at Savina, Udaipur on 15th May, 2015 wherein they spent quality time with elderly people.

v MMPS Band comprising 26 students escorted by Mr Kamlesh Kumar swayed the audience with their musical ensemble on the occasion of 475th Maharana Mewar Jayanti at Moti Magri on 20th May, 2015.

v Hostellers organized a Freshers' Party to welcome the newcomers in the School Campus on 11th July, 2015. Mr Sanjay Datta (Principal, MMEI), Ms Manju Chouhan (Vice Principal) and the staff graced the occasion. A short Cultural Programme was followed by Hi-Tea.

v 41st Founder's Day was celebrated at e Kothar on 12th July, 2015 wherein His Late Highness Maharana Bhagwat Singh Ji Mewar was paid tribute. Colonel Rajesh Sharma, Group Commander NCC was the Chief Guest on the occasion. A short Cultural Programme was followed by the Investiture Ceremony of Maharana Mewar Public School. e Chief Guest conferred the Sashes and the School Flag to Gaurav Pratap Singh (Head Boy), Monita Chaplot (Head Girl), Faluguni Chobisa (Chief Marshal), Captains of 4 Houses and Prefectural Body. e Principal administered the oath of allegiance to the newly appointed Students' Council.

v Mr Sanjay Datta (Principal, MMEI) was honoured as Partner in Service for the support and contribution of the path of Peace and Service for the year 2014-15 by Rotary Club, Udaipur on 15th May, 2015. Ms Anchal Saxena along with Ms Anushree Lahoti (President) (X F) and Ms Mriganika Singh Tanwar (Secretary) (X G) of Interact Club, MMPS was a part of the meeting.

v A get together was organized for MMPS & MMVM staff on 16th May, 2015.

v Mr Pranav Khatri (System Analyst) demonstrated basic computer knowledge to the teaching staff in the month of May-June, 2015 to facilitate them with day to day working.

v e �rst meeting of the (SAC) School Assessment Committee was held on 16th May, 2015 in the School Library wherein (SQAA) School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Process was initiated by Ms Yojna Sharma (PGT, English).

w Prize Giving Ceremony took place wherein the Chief Guest and the Principal gave away the prizes to 31 Scholarship achievers from VI-X for their Academic Excellence. Gandhi House bagged Cycle Race Trophy, received by House Master Mr Hemant Jain. Raman House was the proud recipient of the most coveted Cock House Trophy, received by House Master Mr Shekhar Jha. Tanishq Vaishnava (XIA) and Saba Patwala (XI Arts) were awarded as the Best NCC Cadets.

v MMPS celebrated 69th Independence Day at e Kothar on 15th August, 2015. Colonel Gaurav Shrivastava was the Chief Guest on the occasion. A short Cultural Programme was put up by the students which �lled the entire arena with patriotic spirit. e Chief Guest felicitated 26 students of our school who secured 10 CGPA in class X and 3 students who topped All India Senior School Certi�cate Examination, 2014 for their Academic Excellence. 24 teachers of MMPS were presented Certi�cates for their contribution in the �eld of education and excellent result in Class XII which was awarded by Ms Smriti Zubin Irani, HRD Minister, Govt. of India.

w An Interactive Session talk by Dr Ruchi Joshi, Counselor was held in the Art School as a part of Science Week Celebration on 18th August, 2015.Students from classes VI-VIII attended it. v Ms Vaishali Sharma from 'Helpage India' addressed the assembly at e Kothar on 18th August, 2015. She appraised the students about various organizations under 'Helpage India' and motivated them to contribute for 'Old Age People'. v PTM for Classes VI-XII was held on 22nd August, 2015.

v A team comprising 60 students from IX to XII attended a two day Workshop on Cyber Security at MMPS on 20th and 21st August, 2015 to protect their systems and network. Resource Persons, Mr Adarsh Raveendra and Divyanshu Vaidya(Engineers B.Tech ECE) appraised the students with the techniques of safeguarding their systems from the criminal attack.ey also taught them the usage of software and tools to protect the system.

v Sanskrit Week was celebrated from 24th to 28th August, 2015 to encourage linguistic creativity and popularize Sanskrit among students. To establish links of Sanskrit with modern languages Shlok Path, Brief Description on the lives of Great Poets and Vedas & Purans were presented by students in Morning Assembly. Class Tag Boards were decorated on the given theme with the aim to inculcate interest in Sanskrit. Ms Priyamvada Shashtri, Mr Hemant Kumar Jain and Mr Bakul Trivedi (TGT, Sanskrit) made attempts to strengthen oratory acumen.

v Orientation Programme for teachers on 'Eco-Education and Biodiversity Conservation for Combating Deserti�cation Land Degradation and Drought under National Environment Awareness Campaign 'organized by Nature Club of Rajasthan on 25th August, 2015 at Forest Nursery Badi Road.Mr Shekhar Kumar Jha (TGT, Social Science) and Ms Anchal Saxena (TGT,Science) attended the programme which mainly emphasized on the Biodiversity Conservation and Formation of Eco. Club in schools so that younger generation can be motivated for conservation of biodiversity.

v A renowned composer, performer and one of the India's foremost musicians visited MMPS on 26th August, 2015 .He presented Rag Basant Bukhari.e programme was sponsored by Spic Macay. Mr Zoheb Ahmed Khan (Tabla Player) accompanied the Guest.

v Hindi Week was celebrated from 1st to 8th September, 2015 with the aim to promote love for the National Language amongst the youth. Various activities like Debate, Extempore, Recitation, Poetry Writing, Story Telling, and Doha Antakshri were conducted in Senior and Junior Category.

v Claus Muller, a Classic motorist, a division of CM companies GMSH Gut Baders�eld, Germany visited MMPS on 26th August, 2015.

and Management NIIT N Guru, Gurgaon conducted a Workshop at the Art Block on 10th April, 2015 wherein he demonstrated Mathematics Activities as per recommendations of NCF -2005 which would be available in the laboratory established by them.

v Dr Brij Raj Singh Baghela, HM attended a Seminar on 1st May, 2015 conducted at Alok Sr. Sec. School, Udaipur as a consequence of Campaign by Rajasthan Patrika regarding 'Safety Issues of School Going Children and Responsibilities of Different Skate Holders in School Transport System' wherein different problems being suffered by school authorities, children and administration were discussed.

v A Workshop by 'Next Education' was organized for the teaching staff of MMPS on 16th May, 2015 wherein Mr Gaurav Gurani, Regional Manager and Mr Manish Naik, Senior Business Development Manager, Resource Persons appraised the staff with the 'Innovative Ideas of Smart Board Classes to make Learning more Effective'.

v 100 students of class X attended an inspirational Workshop on 'e Challenges of Life' on 5th July, 2015 in the School Library wherein the Resource Person Mr Aditya Jhunjhunwala, the member of 'Life School Let's Inspire' appraised students with the 'Key of Success' through Video Presentation. He threw light on hard work as the greatest strength.

v A Workshop was organized at the Art Block of MMPS on 15th July, 2015 wherein Resource Person, Ms Shashi Prabha, Assistant Professor, Physics, NCERT, appraised Department of Science with Pedagogy for Teaching Science and also asked suggestions regarding New Education Policy.

v A demo for Mathematics Lab with Digital Concept was held by Resource Person, Mr Gaurav L. Gurani, Academic Consultant from New Education in the Library on 8th August, 2015. Department of Mathematics attended it. He emphasized upon the need of e Lab Offering Pedagogically Appropriate Content including Virtual Activities, Real Life Applications and Hand on Activities' to make learning fun, interactive and interesting.

v Mr Sifat Khan, Premier Sales Consultant from NIT Limited visited MMPS on 2nd September, 2015 wherein he empanelled with Microsoft and motivated the staff to register their names on www.educator network to utilize technology for teaching skillswhich is prerequisite of modern times

v Ms Sadhana Doshi, Ms Chitra Sharma and Ms Kusum Soni (TGT, Science) attended an Interactive Session on 'Effective Teaching in Science' by Orient Black Swan organized at St. Mary's Convent School, Fatehpura, Udaipur on 3rd Septembr, 2015 wherein Ms Jyoti Katju, Resource Person delivered a lecture on developing Speaking Skills of students .

Kothar on 27th April, 2015 so as to encourage students to join the sport. It was played between Chetan Soni (XII Commerce) and Suraj Soni, an International Player from Rajasthan, National Medalist under the guidance of Mr Narpat Singh Chundawat and in co-ordinance of Mr Joshua Rana, an International Player.

v Priyul Menaria (X D) attended a Training Programme of 6th Kudo Championship held at D.C. School, Khandala from 6th to 14th May and received a Bronze Medal in Kudo Match. e trainer was Mr Takashi Azuma, the Grand Master of Japan.

v An Exhibition Boxing Match was held at e Kothar on 13th May, 2015 to encourage students to join Boxing. Mr Narpat Singh Chundawat (Boxing Coach, Rajasthan Sports Council), Mr Joshua Rana (International Kick Boxer) and Mr Praveen Paneri (Boxing Champion) held the Bout. Boxing skills were displayed by two teams of MMPS. ere were three bouts, the �rst bout was held between Rudra Pratap S. Chouhan and Bhuwan Sharma. e unanimous decision was in favour of Rudra Pratap S. Chouhan. In the second bout, Chetan Panwar played against Sumit Vaishnav. e decision was in favour of Chetan Panwar. In the third bout, a friendly demonstration was held between Mr Joshua Rana (International Boxer) and Mr Suraj Soni (National Medalist). All the six boxers were presented Prizes by Maharaj Kumar Lakshyraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur.

v Sports Camp was organized for classes VI-XII for Cricket, Football, Volleyball and Badminton from 16th to 30th May, 2015.

It was a Residential Program - gathering of teachers and educators focussing on bringing 'Information Communication Technology' in education through Google for Education Apps.

Ltd. Educationists spoke on New Educational Policies and other Educational Reforms. Mr Sanjay Datta , (Principal, MMEI) was the key Speaker and Moderator on the topic 'Beyond Traditional Framework Competency based Assessment in Digital Age'.

v Dr Om Singh Chundawat, Dean Academics attended the North India British Council School Ambassador Meet at Hotel Lalit, New Delhi on 27th August, 2015. e Meet was about the review of BCSA work done in the last one year. Project on Connecting Classroom Phase III and the revised ISA Programme including Foundation, Intermediate and Full ISA were discussed.

v A Workshop on 'Effective Use of Low Cost Teaching Aids in Classroom Teaching' was conducted by Ms Rakhee Trivedi (PGT, Physics) at Vidya Bhawan CTAE, Udaipur on 10th September, 2015 for Government Secondary Schools Teachers from all over Rajasthan. 15 secondary teachers attended the Workshop.
