Conception Dance Theatre is a dance school and performance group specialising in Ballet, Modern, Grenadian and Caribbean Folk Forms. The school was started in October 2007 with approximately 50 students and has since grown to 169 students and a performance group of 20 dancers and 2 drummers. Students of the school work conscientiously to become members of the performance group.

We are pleased to present An Evening of Dance, our 6th annual show. This show presents a range of dance styles including for the first time, Acro/tumbling. This was possible through our collaboration with Coach Robin St. Hillaire founder of the newly opened Grenada Gymnastics Academy. This year we feature choreography by Aniona Hamid and Maxine Pierre and we continue to highlight aspiring teachers and choreographers; Caryn Adams, Arlene Hayes, Leah Joseph, and Fayola Moore. Their unique contributions not only add variety to our production but showcases the homegrown talent of Conception Members. We thank our sponsors Jonas Browne & Hubbards Gremada ltd. , Premier Events, Grenada Public Service Communal Credit Union, Ezone, Grenada Trade Centre, Judah Sound System and Video Vision.
