8 WEEK SUMMER CLASS

SCHEDULE AND PRICING

Fairy Tale Dancers (ages 3-4) will gain a solid technical

base through the incorporation of their favorite stories in

the combination ballet and tap program. The

Foundations program (5-6 years) will teach introductory

technique for ballet, tap, and jazz in an energetic and

inspirational environment. The Ballet program offers an

opportunity for students to be challenged at the

appropriate level. Solid technique in classical ballet is

taught in all levels. The Modern/Contemporary program

will implement Horton, Limon, and Graham technique in

to this expressive, fluid form of dance.

The Stretch/Transitions/Pilates program is structured to

increase flexibility, endurance and strength and

improving fluidity in transitional movement. The Jazz

program will introduce the participants to the wide

range of styles that jazz dance encompasses including

musical theatre, jazz funk, lyrical and precision/pom. The

Hip Hop/Industry Jazz program will introduce the

dancers to all styles of hip hop while working to increase

musicality and rhythmic qualities. The Silks program will

engage dancers in the art of aerial dance.  The Tap

program offers students the opportunity to learn this

percussive form of dance and a progressive program that

challenges the musicality and dexterity of the dancer.

POLICIES

Tuition is non-refundable for

the summer session. You are

allowed to transfer tuition

within the summer session if

the class/camp you are

switching to is not full.

Tuition from summer classes

will NOT transfer into the full-

season classes. 

The Silks classes are NOT a

part of the punch card

classes. 

Summer camps, intensive,

and company jump start

programs are NOT a part of

the punch card classes.

EXPAND YOUR HORIZONS INTENSIVES

The Ballet Intensive provides participants with classes in yoga, ballet technique, variations, pointe,

conditioning, injury prevention, and ballet history,  The Around the World Dance Sampler will offer

participants exposure to the styles of Bollywood, Afro-Caribbean, Flamenco/Salsa, Voguing, African,

and Swing Dance.  The Mind, Body, and Soul Intensive will explore effective ways to roll out tense

muscles, release pressure points, and partner assists through yoga, pilates, and stretch and

strengthen classes. The On-Camera Movement and Modeling Intensive will include angles, lines

and shapes for dance photography and what makes successful movement shots. The participants

will partake in photo shoots and receive 2 digital files of their work. The Dance Composition

Intensive will include a mix of composition formulas as tools and guided coaching and feedback.

The Hip Hop Intensive will include fundamental technique in popping/locking, industry jazz, hip

hop, house, tutting, voguing, and breaking.

Come sing, dance, and act with us during our week-long musical theatre camps! Each participant will play a very important role in the production,

which will take place at the end of the week. Students will be given a script for the show on Monday and will be learning the songs, dances, and blocking for the performance. This is our most popular summer program, so register

early!
