2Faced create explosive break and contemporary dance performances, which fuse styles and energise audiences. Their high energy style and contemporary street moves thrill audiences across the world.
They bring a triple bill of new works from critically acclaimed choreographers Tom Dale, Place Prize finalist Freddie Oppiku-Addaie and 2Faced Artistic Director Tamsin Fitzgerald.
Ockham’s Razor are a fantastically fun dance and theatre company who make ingenious work with ropes, pulleys and platforms. Arc tells the story of three people who find themselves stranded together. It is about the balance between them as relationships form and break apart. Memento Mori is a powerful duet performed on a suspended metal frame.Every Action… is a playful look at the bonds that form when people are thrown together. Four strangers meet before twenty-five metres of suspended rope. As they explore this elevated set of scales they discover a world where everything you do will affect someone, somewhere.

Adapted from the critically-acclaimed novel by Jamie O’Neill, ‘At Swim, Two Boys,’ Earthfall revive this award winning production with their first visit to the North East.
Catholic against Protestant, forbidden love and class struggles provide an engrossing backdrop to this stunning dance work. Physical dancing and amazing live music blend to form an enthralling and heartbreaking experience.
Staged entirely in water and set against the backdrop of the Easter Rising in Ireland, this tender and visually beautiful production previously toured to sell-out audiences across the UK and Europe.

A mind-blowing evening featuring two epic hip-hop theatre pieces choreographed and performed by Newcastle’s own world renowned Bad Taste Cru.
Heavily influenced by the boys’ own experiences of growing up in Omagh, the emotive Aftermath follows four characters struggling to exist in the wake of a terrorist act. Aftermath became the first breakdance work to be commissioned for the prestigious Place Prize for Dance 2010.
Performed for the first time in a theatre, Bad Taste’s major outdoor commission Tribal Assembly follows four very different characters (The Chav, The Homeless Person, The Businessman and The Rocker) in their battle for power amidst social class stereotyping, to spectacular effect.
