Inside this Issue
As this term comes to a close, I want to say how much it has been an honor to serve as your Lt. Governor. I am nothing but proud of how much Division 8 has improved and where we are today. Thank you for your passion service, your high spirit, and your love to give back. YOU make this world a better place with each step.
This term was definitely filled with its ups and downs, but what kept me motivated was the very notion of serving you. I hope to see you all at DCON and banquet! Thank you.
This is not a "good bye", but a "see you later."

Trinity has been an amazing Key
Club member throughout the entire
2015-2016 term. She consistently at-
tends club and division events, and
always goes out of her way to assist
officers in the club and happily
works hard at all service events she
goes to.
Regina is doing a great job as Vice President of
MITA. Due to all her hard work, effort, and
guidance the club was able to reach and pass
the set goals. Regina never stops brainstorming
ideas for future projects!
Nhu Vu has been an amazing advisor for
American Canyon Key Club, never failing to
help them when needed.

On February 27th, right after our cleanup a few of us went to our DCM! We had a last there and at the end we ended up
making these cute little caterpillars out of new socks That some of the other people donated. I made a cute blue caterpil-
lar with pink hearts on it then my best friend Sanford Grimmett made the stripped one next to it. We made even more
with the help of D20/D32 since it was a joint DCM. It was such a great day because I love to serve plus rep D8, it was
sad to be the only club from D8 their but Rodriguez still gave it their all!

On Saturday, February 27th Rodri-
guez key club volunteered with Matt
Garcia at their Monthly clean ups!
We had a few members show up to
this event and it was so fun to go
around and clean up. The funniest
part was when me and another mem-
ber found a rat with no head while
picking up trash. It was gross but we
picked it up and threw it away, I was
kinda scared but I laughed at the
end. I go to everyone of the cleanups
and I enjoy every single one especial-
ly since I got another person from
another club to join us!

It was well worth the paper cuts. After spending a Saturday crafting with some residents from Kindred at Home
the members involved all agreed that given the opportunity they would surely go back. It was a lovely experience
hearing their life stories and getting to know each of them. Mita's Key Club is sure to be returning with more
fun activities and some more members soon enough in hopes of repeating this
memorable experience.

Dr. Seuss Event
On March 1st RHS Key club went to the library and decided to do something for the children at our local library. I asked some of the board members to come up with fun activities so we can celebrate a fun day That kids like. It was Dr. Seuss's birthday and we had the kids make hats out of red cups and white paint we also had two members read books to the chil-dren and other fun things. This was an event that I planned and I think it went very well a true success that I also planned two more event for the library. I just love the little kids have fun!

Hello Ballers! I cannot believe that this term is already over! It has been
such an honor serving as your Division 8 News Editor for the
2015-2016 term. I’m glad to say that my last year of Key Club
was my best. I couldn’t be prouder of how much D08 has
grown under Jasmine, I am truly the luckiest Key Club mother
there is.
Thank you to all the wonderful people who sent in articles
and visuals throughout this term to help me create a thriving
Newsletter. I couldn't have been more proud of you all for the
amazing service you have done.
Whether you’re graduating, or have the opportunity to stay
in Key Club for another year, make sure you make the best of
where ever you go, because as Key Clubbers I know that you
will thrive wherever life takes you! So, for the last time I get to
advise you to “Never stop domin8ing!”
With Love,
Amara Alcayde
