SUMMER TERMPROGRAMME2015
Introduction
UPDATE ON OUR GREEN PLEDGE
Welcome to The Station’s Summer Term Programme 2015. We’re continuing to raise awareness of Bristol’s European Green Capital 2015 Award by providing inspirational and fun opportunities for young people to get involved with this summer. We’ve got groups such as the Eco-Warriors to get young people involved in green activity, and we have the fantastic Alice In Wasteland performance coming to us in May for families, young people and adults to enjoy.
We hope you find something inspirational in our programmeto get involved with this summer From all at The Station :)
You may have noticed less Creative Youth Network and The Station programmes on your shelves and around your communities this term. Why? Well, in our Spring Term 2015 Programme we shared our aim to reduce our use of paper at Creative Youth Network by a third during 2015 and to reduce the amount of printed programmmes we create all in order to become a green and more sustainable organisation. We asked you whether this was a good idea and we’re thrilled that the response we had told us that you’d prefer a smaller programme that directed you to a website. We’ve printed less programmes this term to help us on our mission, but also to tell you that next term you’ll see a smaller fold out programme from us that you can pin to walls, notice boards and share with friends. It will have exactly the same creative, inspiring and fun opportunities but it’ll be smaller, greener and nicer to the universe.

Whatever your motivation, we want to hear your ideas and have you involved in this year’s event. VYBE will be holding an open day for young people to come along and tell us what they want from a youth festival. This is your chance to put forward ideas for headliners, workshops, décor and themes as well as any other creative fun ideas that can be incorporated into the festival.
Most importantly we will be looking for young people to get involved and help to organise the event so this is also an opportunity to come and let us know you want to be involved.

CYN GOES GREEN IN 2015MORE OVERLEAF
SUMMER TERMPROGRAMME2015
Introduction
UPDATE ON OUR GREEN PLEDGE
Welcome to Creative Youth Network’s Summer Term Programme 2015. This term we’ve decoided to move our Urban Arts Space courses into the youth clubs, so that more young people can access high quality arts, music, fashion and dance opportunities.Urban Arts Space really does offer a unique opportunity to work with professional artists, to learn skills, and meet other young people with the same interest as you, which is why we’re so thrilled to be opening it up to even more 12 to 19 year olds living around Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
We hope you find something in your area that inspires you this Summer. From all at CYN :)
