L1 – LQ: Can I understand the effects of Cyberbullying using freeze and thought tracking?

Evaluate – How you would feel being the victim of Cyberbullying?

L1 – LQ: Can I understand the effects of Cyberbullying using freeze and thought tracking?

How morally right is it to make others feel bad about themselves?

Create – 3 freezes based on the situations from the story;

1.Casey writes a fake status for her ex (opportunity for cross-cutting here)

Show his reaction (getting teased/laughed at by peers)

2. Casey sends a message to Jennifer from the record company, Jennifer’s reaction when she finds out it’s a fake and everybody’s laughing at her

3. Embarrassing photos of Casey are leaked online by the hacker, show both Casey and her classmates reactions

L1 – LQ: Can I understand the effects of Cyberbullying using freeze and thought tracking?

Create – Add thought tracks into the freezes to express how the characters are feeling

Freeze 1 = Casey’s and ex thought tracks (Lv6)

Freeze 2 = Casey & Jennifer (Lv 6) Freeze 3 = Casey & a peer/classmate (Lv 6)

See criteria if you want to extend your work

L1 – LQ: Can I understand the effects of Cyberbullying using freeze and thought tracking?

Level 5 You stay still for each freeze (5 secs)Facing audience, Clear facial expression You add in a thought track for 1 of the characters for each freeze

Level 6 As above, also show different levels and positions for each freeze And you fluidly move from one freeze to another You clearly show a difference between the boy and the girls reactions Add a thought track for 2 characters in each freeze

Level 7 As above, your freeze shows victim/bully status clearly You add thought tracks for 3 or more characters in each freeze You link 2 of the freezes with a devised scene

Level 8 - All of the above, but you extend your work by devising scenes linking all the freeze frames

L1 – LQ: Can I understand the effects of Cyberbullying using freeze and thought tracking?

STEPS TO SUCCESS Choose a scenario based on a dilemma and act

this out... 2. Add a flash forward to a week later to show

the consequences 3. Perform to class

DO IT NOW ACTIVITYhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tv-sPdeIox0How you would feel if your actions resulted

in a person harming themselves?
