As an E&I Commissioning Engineer I supervised new installations and retrofit / upgrade of existing plant. After some time I was promoted to construction Manager over Electrical and Instrument installations. I was promoted into the QA/QC department with an excellent understanding of the documentation & procedure's for installation, inspection and testing in both IEEE NEC and AP, Saudi Aramco, Flour, Foster wheeler, SBIC, SAMREF, NIGC AMEC, Berry Gas, Siemens, Anglo American Standards to mention a few. In the position of QA/QC Manager, I wrote company procedures in line with Installation methods & hot & cold cut over procedures in line with testing and commissioning. I also took an active role in company ISO - 2002 approval. After completing successful projects within the QA/QC department company promoted me to project manager where I was in control of the entire project. I completed many projects successfully within budget on time where both client and employer were satisfied with project completion. As a major achievement on projects where I preformed and was responsible there was no fatalities, major accidents or injuries which was a good achievement considering the size of the projects and the number of personnel. The projects also had minimal punch lists and minimised cut over time, this was due to myself having a very hands on approach where I spent a lot of my time in plant / field. Every day myself and my team organised supervisory meetings half an hour prior to work starting primarily on safety / work practice methods and team building. My career started at ground level where I learned quickly worked very hard and ended up coordinating & managing projects. I maintained contact with the field personnel and advised the supervision when necessary. When I needed acceleration to achieve milestones I had a particular relationship with the field personnel / team in understanding the necessary requirements in progressing the work with the utmost efficiency. Responsibility when working as a EPC Project Manager OIL & GAS: Planning and co-ordination. (Primavera P-5 / P-6). Client development daily, site review with client PMT and interaction. Cost control / validation and working within budget. Responsible for the implementation and operation of site safety. Continuous validation as to achieve targets and efficiency. Coordination of all sub-contractors. Internal team building insuring Safety, Planning and schedule was properly

understood. Ensuring that the documentation department was properly coordinated and

maintaining proper drawings. Coordinate between engineering / maintenance and site personnel. Coordinate the commissioning department ensuring mile stone targets were

maintained and achieved. Responsibility of the purchasing department, to properly organise and avoid

any interruption of work. Weekly and monthly progress reports to H.O. and client.

Ensuring that QA/QC was properly implemented in line with company QP, project hand over and client requirements.

Coordination and organisation of weekly and monthly review meetings with client.

Detailed analysis of C.C.M.S. and C.P.S. costs control and costs projection systems.

Responsibilities working as project QA/QC Manager Oil & Gas: To ensure that the construction team were working in line with the Project

Specifications, Project Quality Program and the Inspection and Test Plan. Preparation of procedures to suit client requirements for specific tasks. Checking and reviewing quality reports, RFIs, SRs, NCRs, QRs, ITPs, TRs,

etc. Carry out Project internal audits & between Company and Client. Review all reports from the field QC Inspectors to ensure items & concerns

were in line with the Quality Plan. Coordinate QA/QC Weekly meetings in line with construction activities. Weekly / monthly review meetings with the client. Organise cut over and Handover Packages & documentation. Lease with client on all procedural issues. Coordinate final acceptance of installation with the client. Coordinate closure of all punch items. Coordinate internal, Client, Vendor NCR log closure. Coordinate field Surveillance reports and closure with field inspectors. Project hand over usually broken down to System handover as determined

by Client. Coordination with the commissioning team ensuring system hand over was

in compliance with agreed handover documentation determined within the system handover packages.
