n keeping with our Vision 8 objective and responding to our manufacturing partners’ needs to train more people for northeast Ohio’s 21st Century workforce, CVCC broke ground on RAMTEC (Robotic & Advanced Manufacturing Tech-nology Education Collaborative) in 2015. This expanded facility was financed by a $1.5 million Straight A Grant, district

funds and contributions from business partners.

Funds were also used to buy equipment to instruct and provide certifications so more people can fill open jobs in northeast Ohio.

This fits our mission to be responsive to the employ-ment and training needs of our region which consists of 25 communities that compose

eight associate school districts served by the CVCC district.
