- You must pass the Scissor Safety Quiz in order to move on to these steps. Note!!!

- You have your skimmer drawn out and it should look something like this. Now it is time to cut it out.

- What you will need: Drawn Skimmer and Scissors.

- Step 1: Cut out the Main Body Panel. Follow the green lines.

- This is what is will look like detached from the rest of the folder.

- Step 2: Now time to make two more cuts to the Main Body Panel indicated by the green lines.

- Cutting on the lines.

- It should look like this after the two cuts

- Moving on to the fins.

- Step 3: Cut along the green lines, cutting out the two fins.

- Step 4: Now cut on the line that connects the two fins.

- Fins cut apart.

- Now to finally cut the Air Scoop.

- Step 5: Cut along the green lines.

- Here are all the pieces you should have. Recycle the remaining paper and start designing your skimmer!!!

- Note: When you design your skimmer, be sure you flip to the back and draw on the opposite side. You should not see any marks on this side.
