CHARACTERISTICS OF EXCEPTION

The property of our antibacterial / antiviral fabrics is guaranteed by silver ions embedded within the fibre. The new generation bacteriostatic additives are applied during the production phase of the yarn. They complete the textile characteristics of the FR yarn. Silver is a natural and antimicrobial material. Those ions exercise their action on Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. Those microparticles showed their effect against some fungi as well. Those compounds are firmly integrated in the fibre and exercise a permanent antimicrobial and antiviral effect. The antimicrobial activity damages the bacterial cells and virus which inhibits their spread.

Hi-tech fibres for the high demands of a healthy living climateThe first concern of the health sector was limited to treat wound infections. Due to the development of the population and of the microbial flora and virus, the need of a protection against pathogenic agents appeared.

Des fibres de haute technologie pour des exigences dans le domaine de l’hygiène Initialement, la préoccupation du monde médical se limitait aux traitements d’infections par blessure. Avec l’évolution de la flore microbienne et des virus ainsi que de la population terrestre, il est apparu le besoin d’une protection contre les agents pathogènes.

DES CARACTERISTIQUES D’EXCEPTION La propriété de nos tissus antibactériens / antiviraux est garantie par notre filament incrusté d’ions argent. Les additifs bactériostatiques de nouvelle génération sont appliqués lors de la phase de fabrication du fil. Ils viennent compléter les propriétés textiles du fil non-feu FR. L’argent est un matériau naturel et antimicrobien par nature. Ces ions argent exercent leur action sur les bactéries et les virus Gram* positive et Gram* négative. Ces microparticules montrent également leur efficacité contre certains champignons.

Ces agents sont intégrés de manière définitive dans la fibre et agissent en permanence contre les microbes. L’activité antimicrobienne endommage les cellules bactériennes et les virus et empêche leur prolifération. *Technique de mise en évidence des bactéries par une coloration de GRAM.
