6) I was the fall annual outside speaker ( honored guest) at the Bush School of Public Service at Texas A&M University where I gave a keynote speech on “Improving Performance in the Federal Government: What Next?” in October, 2009.

7) I was invited to San Juan, Puerto Rico to give two speeches, one on the campus of the University of Puerto Rico, and one in the building of the Department of State of the Commonwealth. Both speeches were targeted at government employees, non-profit managers and leaders, and graduate students at the University of Puerto Rico. I gave one on April 12, 2010 entitled “Getting Results: The Challenges of Performance-Oriented Government,” and one on April 13, 2010 entitled “Performance Measures to Improve Public and Non-Profit Programs.”
