Our Charge

“Curriculum Enhancement: Study the current degrees offered in each School at AUM. Which degree programs are the strongest? How can those be enhanced? Determine if/what new degree programs are needed for each school. Which would suit student needs? Community needs? Design a plan for implementation including projected costs.”

Page 4: Curriculum Enhancement

Our ObjectivesIdentify 3-5 existing or potential academic

programs that would enhance the academic quality of program offerings at AUM

Document AUM’s strengths and opportunities regarding the programs identified

Develop a plan and budget for developing these programs

Why does this matter?

AUM does not have a modern array of programs

AUM has room to grow by adding/expanding programs that will attract students and enhance our reputation and funding possibilities

Our FocusIdentify one existing academic program

that meets most of the criteria for a program of distinction(POD)

Identify one area that with additional resources could become a POD

Identify a new program whose addition would create a “dynamic and applied academic and research program”
