Using a pencil or pen, trace the outline of tools or objects onto the white rear liner of the top sheet.

Be sure to trace these objects in reverse, as they will be “mirrored” when the two pieces are joined.

Using a fine bladed exacto knife or cutter, cut out the traced outlines from the top sheet. Remove the foam cutouts and discard.

Peel the white liner from the top sheet and adhere to the secondary backing sheet (if using a 2-piece kit) so that the backing sheet shows through the removed object shapes.
