Our Grand Rounds Presentation :
“Reaching New Heights With Your Colorectal Cancer Screening Rates”
For the one-hour CME, participants will:1. Master an understanding of the colorectal screening guidelines, including the need to offer a
menu of choices.
2. Understand the importance of and commit to offering a highly sensitive stool blood test, such as a fecal immunochemical test, as one of the options for colorectal cancer screening.
3. Be willing to commit to increasing colorectal cancer screening rates in their practices, identifying and reaching all enrolled, eligible patients.
4. Understand and be able to apply proven quality improvement methods to increase colorectal cancer screening rates. These methods include approaches to measurement, tracking, opportunistic screening, and population management.
