Remove the coupling guards.

Remove the motor and motor stool.

Loosen the three screws of the shaft seal half a turn.

Remove the screws of the shaft seal/carrier.

Pull the shaft seal out of the pump head and free of the shaft.

Remove the nuts and washers of the pump head.

Knock the pump head off the outer sleeve.

Remove the pump head.

Remove two of the staybolts.

Remove the outer sleeve.

Fit the eyebolt at the top of the shaft.

Lift the chamber stack using suitable lifting equipment.

Separate the chamber stack and the base.

Fit the holder in the vice, and place the chamber stack in the holder.

Fasten the chamber stack to the holder by fitting an M14 nut on the shaft thread.

Remove the screws, the washers and the clamps.

Remove the eyebolt.

Loosen the discharge part from the top chamber.

Loosen the top chamber from the chamber.

Loosen the split cone nut using a socket.

Turn the socket, and knock it against the nut to loosen the impeller from the split cone.

Pull the impeller off the shaft. Continue the same procedure (picture 23, 24 and 25) until reaching the bottom chamber.

Loosen the bottom chamber from the inlet part.

Loosen the split cone nut using a socket.

Remove the nut at the bottom of the holder.

Carefully pull up the shaft.

Remove the impeller from the inlet part.

Remove the inlet part from the holder.

Place the shaft in soft jaws in the vice.

Remove the nut.

Remove the lock washer and spacer ring.

Remove the spacing pipe.

Remove the bearing bush and the spacer ring.

Assembly
Fit the spacer ring.

Fit the bearing bush.

Fit the spacing pipe.

Fit the spacer ring.

Fit the lock washer.Note: The lock washer consists of two washers glued together.

Fit and tighten the nut to 45 ± 5 Nm.

Tighten the holder in the vice, and fit the inlet part.

Fit the last-removed impeller in the inlet part.

Fit the shaft into the holder using an M14 nut.

Tighten the M14 nut.

Push up the split cone nut using two screwdrivers so that it tightens the split cone evenly.

Hold the impeller with the hook spanner and the extension. Tighten the split cone nut to 180 ± 10 using the socket.

Lubricate the bearing bush with Rocol 22.

Fit the bottom chamber with the bearing, and press it home against the inlet part.

Fit the impeller, and push up the split cone nut using two screwdrivers so that it tightens the split cone evenly.

Hold the impeller with the hook spanner and the extension. Tighten the split cone nut to 110 ± 10 using the socket.

Fit the chamber, and press it home against the chamber below. Continue the same procedure (picture 15, 16 and 17) until the top chamber has been

Fit the discharge part.

Lubricate the screws of the straps with THREAD-EZE.

Fit the straps.

Tighten the screws of the straps to 15 ± 2 Nm.

Fit the eyebolt at the top of the shaft.

Lift the chamber stack using suitable lifting equipment.

Remove the nut at the bottom of the holder.

Lift the chamber stack out of the holder.

Fit a new O-ring in the base.

Lubricate the O-ring with Rocol 22.

Carefully fit the chamber stack into the base.

Fit the outer sleeve.

Lubricate the staybolts with THREAD-EZE.

Fit the staybolts.

Remove the eyebolt.

Turn the chamber stack into place.

Fit a new O-ring in the pump head.

Lubricate the O-ring with Rocol 22.

Remove the four springs.

Fit four new springs.

Fit the pump head.

Lubricate the staybolts with THREAD-EZE.

Fit and tighten the nuts and the washers of the pump head. Tighten to 120 ± 10 Nm.

Fit the motor with the motor stool.

Lubricate the screws of the motor stool with THREAD-EZE.

Fit the screws of the motor stool.

Clean and smooth the shaft using the holder with emery cloth supplied with the shaft seal kit.

Cross-tighten the screws of the motor stool. Tighten to 62 ± 6 Nm.

Fit and cross-tighten the nuts of the motor stool. Tighten to 80 ± 10 Nm.

Remove excess grease from the shaft end using a cloth.

Lubricate the O-rings of the shaft seal with Rocol 22.

Fit the shaft seal.

Lubricate the screws of the shaft seal with THREAD-EZE.

Cross-tighten the screws of the shaft seal to 62 ± 6 Nm.

Press the shaft home, and tighten the three screws in the shaft seal. Tighten to 6 ± 0.8 Nm.

Lift the pump shaft using the lifting tool.

Insert the adjusting fork between the shaft seal driver and carrier.

Remove the eyebolt.

Push the coupling onto the shaft using the sliding guide. The top of the pump shaft must be flush with the bottom of the clearance chamber in the coupling.

Lubricate the screws of the coupling with THREAD-EZE.

Tighten the screws slightly. Check that the gaps either side of the coupling halves are equal.

Tighten the screws two and two (one side at a time). Tighten to 85 ± 8.5 Nm for M10 x 25 mm and 100 ± 10 Nm for M16 x 45 mm.

Pull the adjusting fork off the shaft. Fit it on one of the screws of the shaft seal.

Fit the coupling guards, and tighten them.
