execute an agreement with Grant A. Cozier Excavating Ltd. for the reconstruction of Barnet Boulevard.

THAT Alastair Baird and Colleen Sadler, representing Enterprise Renfrew County, appear and be heard before Council to provide an overview of the organizations activities and initiatives. - CARRIED -

Enterprise Renfrew County, located at 459 O’Brien Road, has been operating in

the Town of Renfrew since 1988 and is one of 57 Enterprise Centre’s across the province. It is a non-profit program funded by the Government of Ontario with a mandate to encourage and contribute to the enterprising spirit and economic development of the County by assisting entrepreneurs. Their programs include Summer Company, Make Your Pitch, Starter Company and Futurpreneur Canada. A copy of their presentation has been appended to the original copy of these minutes.

THAT the minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council held February 27th, 2018, be adopted as printed. - CARRIED -

Mayor Eady honoured Donna Dunn on her pending retirement on March 22nd after providing 16 years of dedicated service as an employee of the Town of Renfrew. Donna was presented with a commemorative Certificate and congratulated by all those in attendance.

THAT the communication from the Renfrew Collegiate Institute be received and that their requests in conjunction with the hosting of the following events be approved:

Relay for Life Community Awareness Day on May 5th, 2018;

16th Annual Bonnie Kerr Memorial Cure for Cancer Carnival on May 11th, 2018; and

12th Annual Relay for Life on May 25th, 2018.

AND FURTHER THAT applicable Town Departments and Staff be directed to work with the event organizers to facilitate the requests made. - CARRIED -
