This has been demonstrated in the success of our leading brand “porto”, which name has been integrated in the egyptian slang and is now used to express vacation, resort and fun. at amer group, we take pride to create egypt’s most popular real estate and touristic developments.

during our journey, we have proudly introduced the first chain of full-service restaurants in egypt, chilli’s, followed by an expansion in the Middle east creating successful dining chains such as studio Masr and halket el samak.

we are also proud to set a real trend in the tourism market derived by porto developments such as porto Marina and porto sokhna.

as we believe in corporate social responsibility , 33% of the group shares founded a philanthropic trust in 2009, (egyptian wakf), which support for the community in different aspects.

porto Agadiramer group has finalized an agreement with the Moroccan Ministry of Tourism to develop a community of 1,200,000 square meters on the coast of the atlantic ocean. upon obtaining regulation permits, sales will be launched in september 2015.

porto Dead Seaanother agreement was concluded with the Jordanian government to implement the usd 250 million investment project, which will include a five-star hotel, villas and apartments, summing up to more than 3,000 units.

The project aims to increase local and foreign tourists to the dead sea to 500,000 annual visitors. sales at porto dead sea have been launched in January 2015 with an unprecedented breakthrough.

Tropicana for Food industries (TFi), the restaurant division’s subsidiary, supplies all amer-operated restaurants. The group plans new investments in TFi to increase capacity and improve efficiency, aiming to expand operations to non-amer brands. Tropicana is actively exploring opportunities to franchise group-owned brands in the gcc.

The first half of 2014 witnessed six new restaurants opening, including a studio Masr in abu dhabi. The new year will witness the opening of two branches of the ocean basket franchise.
