Hello! Thanks for signing up for my free training! I'm Misty Kearns & I'm excited to help you step into the role of a CEO in your direct sales business! In case we haven't had a chance to connect yet, here's a little bit about my story & CEO of Me®.

I started my CEO of Me journey in 2006 in the direct sales industry. I joined for the discount with no intention of building a business. I did not think I could be successful in sales much less as a leader. I am an introvert from a small town & at that time in my life I did not have any self-confidence. I really thought I would just be a happy "kitnapper" and enjoy getting my products at a discount for a while.

Three months later I was fired from my full-time job. I was single, 25 & living on my own with no money in savings. I quickly piled up massive debt using credit cards to pay bills and fell into a depression. I knew I wanted more for my life but had no idea what to do. I knew I did not want to go back to a corporate job, so I decided to give the direct sales industry a try until I figured out what I was going to do next.

I realized that direct sales was a great fit for me & that I had many different skills and abilities & was capable of more than I had ever imagined. I was able to replace my full-time income in less than 6 months. I quickly moved up the ranks in my company & consistently placed in the Top 20 Directors for my Region & in the US.

While I earned free trips, the keys & title to my own convertible & more prizes than I can remember during my years in direct sales, gaining self-worth & confidence and being able to live life on my terms was completely life-changing! The business gave me amazing friendships, relationships, leadership skills and the ability to help others reach their potential.

In 2011, I started a blog called "CEO of Me®" to share what I was learning as I was growing my business and to help others. As the blog grew, I realized my true passion is empowering & teaching others how to build their own successful business and step into their most confident selves.

In 2014, I left my direct sales career to become a Certified Coach. I now teach others how to shift their mindset, improve their confidence and work smarter so they can create their own CEO of Me® lifestyle too. I offer training & tools specific for direct sellers on Direct Selling CEO™ and training & tools for all other types of entrepreneurs on CEO of Me®.

Being a CEO of Me® is about more than building a successful business. Being a CEO of Me® is about defining success for yourself and proactively creating your best life & business every day. That is what creates authentic success & happiness.

Having your own business, whether in direct sales/network marketing or blogging, coaching or other niche, comes with many struggles and challenges. To be successful, you must learn how to get out of your own way, how to love yourself more, how to use your own unique personality so you can be more confident, visible and attract more of the right people. It’s also important to implement systems, be organized and work smarter so you don’t have to hustle.

STEP #1 ACTIVITY: Create a vision board or vision statement below that reflects your goals, dreams, mission and definition of success.

STEP #2 ACTIVITY: Write out a list of all the possible reasons, stories, beliefs and excuses as to why you are not good enough, capable enough, deserving, worthy or allowed to reach your goals, be more confident and grow your business. Then begin working on forgiving each of those people, stories, experiences & yourself and start rewriting them with the TRUTH about how amazing you are, how capable, worthy, deserving you are & what is allowed for you going forward.

STEP #3 ACTIVITY: Create a sample weekly schedule for your business below. Remember to include the key categories / activities for your business like lead generation, content creation/marketing, parties/host coaching, recruiting/onboarding, team building, business admin tasks, planning & prep, customer care, etc.… You can use hourly timeslots or activity categories if you need more flexibility.
