Convention Program

Welcome to The Marriott Frenchman’s Reef & Resort, the premier property here in “sunsational” St. Thomas and home to NCADA’s 78th Annual Convention. During your time here, we hope you’ll take part in the many events this convention offers. Prepare to enjoy fabulous meals and meetings and en-joy some of the most beautiful views this island has to offer. For those of you taking part in the many NCADA land and sea activities, you’re going to have a blast!

On Monday during the Awards & Recognition breakfast we will recognize Na-tional Time Magazine Dealer of the Year, Mike Alford, as well as our 2013 Life-time Achievement Award winners Mr. Don Price and The Honorable David Hoyle. Following the Monday morning events, we have several exciting pro-grams for dealers…… ranging from NCADA’s 3rd “Motor Boat Regatta” to our fi rst ever night kayaking activity….. you’ll be in for a ton of fun!

Tuesday kicks off with our business breakfast followed by an educational pro-gram on today’s latest, greatest technology. Again, Tuesday afternoon will have NCADA members soaking up the sun during the “Sail and Snorkel” trip and our convention wraps up with a fun fi lled Tuesday night dinner!

I would like to say a special thank you to our generous convention sponsors that are with us here in St. Thomas. These folks are valued NCADA members and we appreciate their support of North Carolina dealers. Without them, this unique time of fellowship and relationship building would not be possible.

In closing, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the NCADA Board and Trustees for all of their efforts over the past year. The Board and Trustees do a fabulous job for dealers across the State and it was my absolute pleasure to serve as the Chairman of NCADA for the past year. I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to all of the staff with NCADA. You ALL are amazingly dedicated to us and you give 110% percent to make sure we have strong laws to protect our businesses and fabulous events to celebrate our accomplishments. So on behalf of all the car, truck and RV dealers in the great state of North Carolina, THANK YOU for making our state the BEST state to be a franchised dealer!

The convention is open to NCADA members only. With other groups also meeting at Frenchman’s Reef Resort, we ask that you wear your name badge to every convention activity. The badges are color-coded: white badges are for dealers and their guests; yellow badges are associate members and their guests, and teal badges are for those under 21 years of age.
