how it worksChild`s play and quick as a flashThe flash-technology is the simple principle used for modico®. It replac-es the old processes of stamp mak-ing: the production is clean, easy and safe. The stamp is created by exposure of a microporous text plate with flashlight. The ink cartridge lies behind the text plate made of a microporous, special foamed mate-rial that stays ink penetrable at the unexposed areas. By pressing the stamp on the paper, the ink will be transferred through those areas. A new modico® is created in 3 minutes. Its imprint is razor-sharp. Its resolution gains up to 600 dpi. Graphics, grey scales, photos, personal signatures and fonts down to 4,5 points are reproduced precisely. An intelligent technol-ogy that makes a profit margin of up to 80 percent possible.

All you need is a laser printer, the modico® exposure unit and a little bit of creativity.

Kinderleicht und blitzschnellIm modico® steckt ein einfaches Prinzip, die Flash-Technologie. Sie löst alte Verfahren der Stempel-herstellung ab: die Produktion wird sauber, simpel und sicher. Der Stem-pel entsteht durch die Belichtung einer microporösen Stempelplatte mittels Blitzlicht. Das Stempelkissenliegt beim modico® hinter dem Stempelklischee aus microporösem Spezialschaumstoff, der an den unbelichteten Stellen farbdurch-lässig bleibt. Beim Abdrücken des Stempels gelangt die Farbe durch diese Stellen auf das Papier. Ein neuer modico® entsteht in 3 Mi-nuten. Sein Abdruck ist gestochen scharf. Er erreicht eine Auflösung von bis zu 600 dpi. Grafiken, Halb-töne, Fotos, persönliche Unter-schriften und Schriftarten bis zu 4,5 Punkt werden präzise wiedergege-ben. Eine intelligente Technologie, die eine Gewinnspanne von bis zu 80 Prozent möglich macht.

Sie brauchen nur einen Laserdrucker, das modico®-Belichtungssystem und ein wenig Kreativität.

Le Graphisme, les échelles grise, les photos, les signatures personnelles et des polices de caractères à 4.5 points sont reproduits précisé-ment. Stick the artwork, which is printed on the kimoto laserfilm, inverted onto the transparent film that is placed onto the textplate.

Close the machine. Press the start button. In a few seconds the textplate is exposed.

Put the textplate and the ink cartridge in the trim ring. Push the stamp mount onto the trim ring. Wait for one hour until the textplate is saturated with ink – and Bob`s your uncle!

No room for a new device?The modico® exposure unit fits in even very small offices and business premises. Compact, easy and save to use, the machine with the newest microprocessor-controlled technology leads to a perfect result. You know the problem of a smeared stamping imprint when stamping on e.g. photos with a normal office stamp. For that reason there are inks and stamps by modico®, that are customised especially on the demands of different materials.

Depending on the material, the stamped-on fabrics can be machine-washed about 50 times at 60°, without a fading of the markings. You can choose from the different colours of ink black, blue, green and orange. Das modico® System nimmt Rücksicht auf die Umwelt und Ihre Gesundheit. Im Gegensatz zu herkömmlichen Verfahren produ-ziert es nichts als einen Stempel: weder Abfälle noch Schmutz, Staub, giftige Dämpfe oder Lärm. Eine Absaugung während der Herstellung ist nicht notwendig. Zudem entfallen die Kosten für die Entsorgung von Gefahrstoffen.

Das Flash-Verfahren benötigt weder schädliche Chemikalien noch Reinigungsmittel. Stempel-kissen und Textplatte des modico® halten ganz ohne Klebstoffe. Sie kommen mit keinen giftigen Substanzen in Berührung.

Die Belichtungsmaschine verfügt zudem über einen Schutz vor Stromschlag und unbeabsichtigter Belichtung. Das UVA-Sicherheits-glas vor der Lampe verhindert, dass UV-Strahlung aus dem Gerät austritt. Ihr Arbeitsumfeld bleibt sauber, übersichtlich und sicher, so dass jedes Büro für die Stempelproduktion geeignet ist.

The modico® system is considerate of the environment and your health.Unlike conventional processes it produces nothing but a stamp: no litter or dirt, no dust, poison-ous vapours or noise. There’s no need for an exhaust system for the making of the stamp. Also there won’t be any costs for the disposal of toxic wastes.

The Flash-process requires neither harmful chemicals nor any detergents. Ink cartridge and text plate of the modico® stay in place without any adhesives. You won’t encounter any toxic substances.

The exposure unit also possesses a protection against electric shock and accidental exposure.The UVA-safety glass above of the flash light protects you from any UV-radiation. Your working environment stays clean, clear and safe, therefore any office is suitable for the stamp production.
