Conference and Event Services
The Charles Jago Northern Sport Centre is the community’s four-season, fitness and recreation destination. Home to three gymnasiums, one fieldhouse with two fields, indoor track, meeting rooms and more, our certified Fitness and Recreation staff will create customized team-building games and activities that will energize and inspire your customers and employees. Prime and non-prime rental rates by the day, or hour, are available and you can even book Catering Services to prepare a tasty onsite buffet or BBQ.

reduced absenteeism and lower turnover. We can design an Employee Fitness Program that will fit into your organization’s occupational health and safety plan and encourage active living.
Seven employees and proof of employment is all it takes to access the Northern Sport Centre’s special Corporate Membership rate.
All dependents, twelve and younger are free. First dependent up to eighteen years of age is free. All additional dependents 13 - 18 years of age are 50% off the Teen/Youth rate.
Bring your event to campus and choose from over forty memorable spaces that include atriums, courtyards, classrooms, video-conferencing, computer labs, meeting rooms and lecture theatres of all sizes. Rooms are rentable by the hour or day, and are outfitted with state-of-the-art projection equipment and comfortable seating configurations. On-site catering service centralizes event logistics, and our Food Services team will prepare customized selections or you can choose from our well-appointed menu.
Hold your event during the spring/summer and you can stay right on campus in the UNBC Residences. We offer affordable and comfortable Guest Accommodation for individuals, or groups looking for a single room or a four-bedroom suite. No minimum stay is required and you can book easily online at unbc.ca/conference/accommodation, booking.com or expedia.com
