Albert Márquez, Marta She is a hired professor, Phd. in Philosophy of Law, at the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid. She has published the book Los valores jurídicos en el constitucionalismo español (Legal Values in Spanish Constitutionalism) (2004) and she is the author of several research articles, as well as of others related to university teaching. She has also participated in collective works, among others, Mundialización y multiculturalismo (Globalization and Multiculturalism) (2004). She has made stays in different Spanish research centers and at the Oxford University. Brena Sesma, IngridShe has a Doctorate in Law, and she is on the DMD and the College of Bioethics board of directors; she is a member of the Institute of Legal Research of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and also of the Postgraduate Subcommittee in the Master's and Doctorate Program in Dental and Health Medical Sciences of the School of Medicine. She is a full-time C head researcher, coordinator of the Center for Health and Law Studies and a Level II researcher of the National System of Researchers.She is the author of several law and health related books and articles. She has compiled books on genetics, Código de Leyes sobre Genética (Code of Laws on Genetics) in three volumes in collaboration with Dr. Carlos Romeo Casabona, and she has coordinated books such as Células Troncales, Aspectos Científicos-Filosóficos y Jurídicos (Trunk Cells, Scientific-Philosophical and Legal Aspects), Reproducción Asistida” (Assisted Reproduction), Hacia un instrumento regional interamericano sobre bioética: experiencias y expectativas (Towards an Inter-American Regional Instrument on Bioethics: Experiences and Expectations).

Cossío Díaz, José RamónHe studied Law at the University of Colima (1984), a master's degree in Constitutional Law and Political Science at the Center for Political and Constitutional Studies of Madrid, Spain, and in 1988 he concluded the doctorate at the Law School of the Complutense University of Madrid with the thesis El estado social y los derechos de prestación (The social state and the rights to benefits), which received a summa cum laude evaluation. He has been a professor at various institutions since 1983; he has taught at the National Bachelors School of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), at the Monterrey Technologic Institute of Higher Studies, Campus Colima, at the Law School of the UNAM, at the Law School of the University of Colima, at the Pan American University,at the Latino-American Social Sciences School (FLACSO), at the Colegio de México and at the Autonomous Technologic Institute of Mexico (ITAM). He won the Research Award of the Mexican Academy of Sciences in 1998 and the National Prize of Sciences and Arts in the area of History, Social Sciences and Philosophy in 2009. He was elected member of the Colegio Nacional in October 2013. He served as Minister of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation from December 2003 to November of 2018.

Cossío Díaz has a clear constitutional formation of social democratic style. Philosophically, he has faced problems related to the autonomy of law and interdisciplinarity in the social sciences. He was one of the most innovative ministers due to his criteria and dissenting votes; he has promoted the change of structure and drafting of sentences to make them more accessible to the specialized public, the academy and the lawyers associations, and to the general public through the media. He has written 16 books and 513 articles published as collaborations or as memoirs, in academic notebooks, specialized magazines, dissemination magazines and newspapers.

Kissling, FrancesIs a scholar and activist in the fields of religion, ethics and health. She currently serves as president of the Center for Health, Ethics and Social Policy in Washington, D.C. where she develops ethics programs for health professionals in the Global South. She also teaches reproductive health ethics at the Perleman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania.Kissling was a 2007–2008 Fellow of the Radcliffe Institute Fellowship Program, part of the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University. She has published over 250 articles in the popular press as well as in several peer reviewed journals. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, The Nation and Mother Jones among other publications. Her current interest is the development of civil dialogue on controversial ethical and policy issues. She frequently collaborates with the ethicist Peter Singer, organizing conferences that bring together scholars who disagree on critical issues such as abortionand organ transplant policies. With Singer she is writing the book Population: The Last Taboo which explores the importance of population dynamics in reducing poverty and climate change.

Morales Aché, PedroHe has a law degree from the School of Law of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).Since 1989 he is a litigant specialized in health and human rights, and he is the author of several reform projects concerning reproductive freedom, reproductive health and HIV/AIDS; he advised the 2003 and 2007 legislative reforms whose process led to the decriminalization of abortion until the 12th week of gestation and the provision of legal termination services for pregnancy in Mexico City.He successfully defended the cause of more than 100 soldiers discharged from the armed forces for being HIV positive.He is a member of the Bioethics College, of the Mexico City HIV/AIDS Council and Director of Medilex, a legal medical consulting firm.

Funk, Rainer Funk studied philosophy and theology. From 1974 to 1980 he was Erich Fromm's assistant, about whom he did his doctorate in 1977, and whose complete work he compiled in ten volumes between 1975 and 1981. Fromm, who died in 1980, named Funk as his executor. Since then, Rainer Funk has been integrating the Erich Fromm Archive based on Erich Fromm’s heritage and library in Tübingen. He is the owner of the rights of Fromm's writings and works on the board of the Erich Fromm International Society.In addition to his scientific work, Rainer Funk runs a psychoanalytic practice in his place of residence in Tübingen.
