Printing Forms

1 PurposeThis configuration guide provides the information you need to set up the configuration of this building block manually.

If you do not want to configure manually and prefer an automated installation process using BC Sets and other tools, refer to the SAP Best Practices Quick Guide, located on this package’s SAP Note.

2 Preparation

2.1 Prerequisites

Before you start installing this building block, you must install prerequisite building blocks. 3.1 Styles & Text Modules

3.1.1 Copying Styles for SMART FORMS into Customer Namespace

UseProcess this activity to make sure that the used styles are copied into your customer namespace.

ProcedureCarry out the following steps:

1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

SAP ECC Menu Tools Form Printout Smartforms

Menú SAP Herramientas Imprimir formularios Smart Forms

Transaction Code SMARTFORMS

2. On the SAP Easy Access screen, from the application menu, choose Tools Form Printout Smartforms or in the Command field, enter SMARTFORMS and press Enter.

3. On the SAP Smart Forms: Initial Screen select the Style radio button.

4. Choose Copy (Ctrl + F5).

5. In the Copy Style dialog box, in Source Object field, enter the name of the style you want to copy.

6. In the Target Object field, enter the new name in your customer namespace and choose Con-tinue (Enter). Repeat steps 3 to 8 for each Source Object in the table below:

7. In the Create Object Directory Entry dialog box, enter Package Z001 (or a package your sys-

tem administration assigned to your project) and choose Save.

8. In the Prompt for local Workbench request, enter or create a request and choose Continue (Enter).

9. Save the new Style.

3.1.2 Copying Text Modules into Customer Namespace

UseProcess this activity to make sure that the used text modules are copied into your customer namespace.

3.2 General Configuration

3.2.1 Copying SAPscript Forms from Client 000

UseThe purpose of this activity is to copy the following SAPscript forms from client 000 into the cus-tomer namespace YB_* in your installation client:

Note that if you have already installed this building block in another client in your sys-tem, the forms are already included in a transport request. This means that the forms are locked for change in the current implementation client and an error will occur. In this case, you must remove the objects from the transport request in the other client (transaction SE09) before you can carry out this step.

4. Choose the output type (for example, AN00 for Quotation) and in the Dialog Structure, dou-ble-click Processing routines.

5. Choose New Entries and make the following entries:
