About CoEP

The institution, which was established in 1919 is

regarded as a Noble vision towards a Noble cause, so

earnestly and endearingly pursued by its founder Father

Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil. The Rayat Shikshan Sanstha is

one of the leading educational institution in Asia.

Scope and Objectives of Conference

Conference will consist of,

About the Conference

Energy is one of the most fundamental elements of our

universe. Every thing we do is connected to energy in

one form or the other. Energy is defined as the ability

to do work. Energy can be obtained through various

sources like Biomass, geothermal, fossil fuel, hydro-

power, solar energy, wind, tidal and nuclear etc.

Sustainable development in India encompasses a

variety of development schemes in social, clean

technology (clean energy, clean water and sustainable

agriculture) and human resources segments.

Sustainable development is to manage the energy

sources in an optimal way to satisfy the human energy

needs while preventing the environmental damage, so

that these needs can be fulfilled not only in the present

but also for generations to come.

Environment, Local People and Future

Sustainable Development ties together concern for the

carrying capacity of natural systems and the socialchallenges facing humanity. This conference will offer

an opportunity to students, researchers, technocrats,

scientists, academicians to put forward their views

about energy and sustainable development.
