Photosynthesis Concept Map

Directions: In this assignment you will be working in pairs to create a concept map of Photosynthesis. Here are some questions to consider when creating your concept maps:

v What organisms photosynthesize?

v Where does photosynthesis occur?

v What are the structures of chloroplast?

v Where on plants are the sites of photosynthesis? (i.e. leaves or stems)

v What are the two reactions of photosynthesis?

v What are the reactants and products of each reaction?

v What is the Photosynthetic Equation?

v What organisms give off Carbon Dioxide?

You do not have to answer all of these questions directly in your concept maps but

rather use these questions as a starting point to build and expand on your

understanding of Photosynthesis. Be sure to include pictures or visuals.
