1. Introduction

This is a brief documentation on the most important functions of the Component Preparation System. Topics covered in this document include the following:

• Logging in to the system

• Admin Menu Maintenance

• Change Password

• All available Master’s pages

• Label Printing

• Material Movement

2. System Log In

This section discusses on log-in procedure of ComPrep System.

1. Open Your Internet Browser, point to address system

2. You will see the User Login screen in your browser. Input User ID and Password and click the Submit button.

3. System Administration This section describes functions for administration of system. Admin Menu will allow user to add or modify a user. This menu will only be available if the Login user Login is determined as an Administrator.

3.1 User Register

This menu will allow user to add a new user or maintain existing user.

3.1.1 Creating a new user

To create a new user, click Add New link, then user will be directed to Add/Edit Record.

Before clicked Submit button to add the new user, the user must define the new user’s group(s). This group(s) will be used to determine pages that can be access by the user.

3.1.2 View/Edit/Delete Existing User and Reset Password

To view User Information an existing user, user needs to click Edit Link on the left column. After that system will display data with inputted criteria (see Image user registration menu).

To delete a user, user can clicked on Delete button,

To edit a user, those will same with page display when we want to add a new user. The edit page functions in the same way as the create new user page. All fields may be changed.

To reset password, user can clicked on Reset password (default password 123456)

Following is a description of the fields for Add/Edit function:

Employee No Employee number of user.

User Phone User’s contact number

Password User’s password. Administrator is to create a default password (123456) and inform user

3.2 User Menu Authorize

This Menu purpose to define User menu for each user group,

4. Change Password

This menu will allow current Login user to change the password of their account. To view this, click My Account on The top tab menu, choose My Profile then Click Change Password

There is no rule of password required.

5. Master Data This section contains Configuration, Setting and setup master data. To access, click on Master Data on the Top menu.

5.1 Define Type Package

To manage the Type of Package master, click on Configuration –> Setup –> Define Type Package on Configuration menu, by default will display existing data.

Add New/ Edit existing Type of Package

To add new Type of Package click on “Add New” link on the top right page.

To edit an existing Type of package, user needs to click Edit Link on the left column. After that system will display data with inputted criteria.

5.2 Storage Location

To manage the Storage Location master, click on Configuration � Setup � Define Storage Location item on Master Data menu. By default will return all Existing Storage Location that available.

Add new/Edit existing Storage Location

To Add New Storage Location click on Add New Link on the top right page.

To Edit existing Storage Location, click Edit Link on the left, Click Submit when finish creating/updating record.

5.3 Storage Bin

To manage the Storage Bin master, click on Configuration � set up � Define Storage Bin on Master Data menu. By default, it will display all of Storage Bin.

5.3.1 View Storage Bin

To view existing Storage Bin, user needs to select Search Criteria. After that system will display data with selected criteria.

5.3.2 Add/Edit/Delete Storage Bin

Add/edit Storage Bin Page will display when user want to add or Edit. The edit page functions in the same way as the Add Record page. All fields may be changed in Add Mode, Click Submit when finish creating/updating record.

5.4 MSD Level

To manage the MSD Level Master, click on Configuration � Setup � Define MSD Level item on Configuration menu. By default, it will display all of MSD Level exist.

5.6 Bill of Material (BOM)

To manage the BOM click on Item Master � Bill of Material � PCBA BOM on Master data menu. By default, it will display all existing data.

5.7 Department

To manage the Department Master, click on Employee Profile � Manage Department � Define Department on Master data menu. By default, it will display all existing department.

5.8 Position

To manage the Position master data , click on Employee Profile � Manage Department � Define Position on Master data menu. By default, it will display all existing position.

5.9 Employee

To manage the Employee master data , click on Employee Profile � Employee List � Employee List on Master data menu. By default, it will display all existing employee.

6. Label Printing This section will allow user to Print Label. To access these functions, click Component Preparation ����Label Printing on the top menu. See below

To create new label, Click Print Label on Label Printing Menu. It’s will show new page below, enter your employee number then click submit

6.2 Label Printing History

To view the print history, Click Label Printing History on Label Printing Menu.

7. Material Movement

This section will allow user to do release material and return material location. To access these functions, click Component Preparation ����Store Activity ����Material Movement on the top menu. See below

7.1 PCBA Store (Return Material)

To move material to PCBA Store, click on Store Activity � Material Movement � PCBA Store on Component Preparation Menu.

7.2 Release Material to Production

To move material from store to production, click on Store Activity � Material Movement � Release to Production on Component Preparation Menu.

7.3 Empty reel (use)

To dispose empty reel, click on Store Activity � Material Movement � Empty reel (use) on Component Preparation Menu.

To adjust or edit data material, click on Adjustment � Material� Material Adjustment on Component Preparation Menu.

8. Production Order

This section will allow user to order material. To access these functions, click Component Preparation ����Prod. Order on the top menu. See below

To raise order, click on Prod. Order � Transaction� Material Request on Component Preparation Menu. Then you will see below page

To confirm order, click on Prod. Order � Transaction� Material Response on Component Preparation Menu. Then you will see below page

To show log history of order, click on Prod. Order � Summary� Part Order List on Component Preparation Menu. By default it will show all existing data.

9. Reset Duration

This section will allow user to reset release duration. To access these functions, click Component Preparation ����Store Activity ����Monitoring ����MSL Status on the top menu or click link on message alert. See below

11. Alert/Notification

This section contains

• MSL Alert This alert will be show if there is a material will be expire Expire time >= 5 hours

• Machine Backing alert This alert will be show if there is a material need to move out from backing machine. Plant <=10 minutes

• Over duration notification This notification will be show if there is a material after release to production not returned to PCBA store after 24 hours.

• Production Order Notification This notification will be show if there is new request item.

Appendix A – Creating Component preparation System Shortcut

<NOTE: This section is for creating shortcut to directly access Component Preparation System>

This section discusses on the creation of shortcut to COMPREP System.

The steps to create the shortcut are as follows:

1. Right-click on the desktop. Choose New ���� Shortcut.

2. In the Type the location of the item: box, type the following address:

http://<<ServerName>>/ASP.Comprep/

Click Next > button.

(Please note that the above address is subject to change.)

3. In the Type a new for this shortcut: box, type ComPrep System.

Click the Finish button.
