Groundwork started for VOLTAIR, a new office complex nearAlexanderplatz in Berlin. VOLTAIR is a conceptual fusion of office spaces,innovative co-working areas and communicating meeting zones. Theproject typology reflects individual working clusters as flexible spatialunits. On the ground floor the building opens up towards the streets andtowards the inner courtyard designed with trees and seating areas. In themiddle of the facades, a horizontal gap around the building createsoutdoor spaces and relates to the height of the viaduct across the streetwhich runs through the entire center of the city.
