GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO):NAndrew Harvey: Heads up the co-ordination of the group, along with Finance and IT. He has over 11 years experience in the Insurance IT arena and equity � nance after co-founding Debonair’s Pizza. He has been involved with Absolute for the past three years.

COMMERCIAL MOTOR:Mark Whitehurst: Gained experience working at a direct broker, Santam and at Absolute. He has underwritten both property and motor (private and HCV) risks. He has been with the company for 8 years and heads up the underwriting department. mark@aum.co.za

Sid Beeton: Is the Cape Town regional manager. He is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute and of the Risk Managers Society of South Africa. He has extensive experience as a broker and underwriter gained through Aon, Daly’s, M&F and Guardian.sid@aum.co.za

COMMUTER: Derek Vermeulen: Underwrites risks pertaining to the Taxi Industry and has 20 years experience in this specialised � eld. derek@aum.co.za

LIABILITY:Peter Darroll: Was instrumental in the success of Domestic Liability Underwriters underwriting for Santam. He joined Absolute in 2007 to start the Liability subsidiary and now writes passenger liability, umbrella liabilities and pollution liability.peter@aum.co.za
