Established in 2003, Tawanda Construction and Projects is a Level 3 BBBEEE Contributor and 100%black owned Civil and Construction company based in Johannesburg South Africa. We specialise inBrickwork, Formwork, Plastering, Concrete Floors, Concrete Slabs, Tiling, Painting and Paving. Wehave sub-contracted for reputable Commercial and Retail developers, namely Trencon, Stefanutti Stocks, Farquharson and Concor Building. We recently expanded into Bulk Earth Works and Plant Hire. We have the experience and know-how to work on Commercial and Retail projects as well as construction of housing developments, including complexes and large residential estates.

VISIONThe vision of Tawanda Construction and Projects is to provide quality services in civil andconstruction industries, with safe methods at the cost effective to the client. We aim to createemployment and skills development in communities we’re tasked to work in and to improve thestandard of construction by building to expected quality using safe methods of construction, giving value to the money of the client.

MissionTawanda Construction and Projects intend to improve the standard of living by empowering disadvantaged communities by providing employment and skills development to people in the communities where Tenders are awarded. It is also our mission to improve the standard of civil and construction quality in our country by using skilled and competitive employees.

4.1 BRICK WORK Our services include extensions, new builds, plastering, loft insulation, ground work, beams, renovations, structural alteration, underpinning, paving and concrete works.

4.2 PAVING- INSTALLATION Tawanda Construction & Projects have years of experience with all types of paving including Patios, Driveways and Paths. We only use the best quality materials and all of our paving work is carried out to the highest standards. We are able to complete a project from start to finish with all of the necessary tradesmen. All our work is completed to a very high standard with great results. We have a proven track record and constantly strive to ensure every single client is a happy client

4.3 PLASTERING, FLOORS & SCREEDING We can assist you with floor painting, anti slip floor coatings, line marking paints, concrete floor repairs, waterproofing walls, plastering, new builds, dry walling and painting

4.7 Bulk Earth Works & Plant HireOur team of experienced professionals incorporating our modern plant fleet, mean we are able to ensure projects are completed on time and to budget and in full accordance with the clients requirements.

Earthworks and lateral support for super basements Bulk earthworks and related services for shopping centres and warehouses Construction of gravel and surfaced haul roads for both the private and public sectors Erosion and stormwater control and infrastructure Dragline walkways Design and construction of both public and private roads Concrete structures The rehabilitation of land fill sites

This function entails the overall project management, from the sourcing of land, bulk and link infrastructure, appointment and management of the professional team, and the physical delivery of the project, be it civil infrastructure/housing and/or both.

5. DESIGN AND CONSTRUCT (TURNKEY SOLUTIONS)

Integral to the successful implementation of construction projects is the capacity to manage the overall project. In building terms, this is commonly referred to as being the “Implementing agents”.

7. SAFETY

Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our employees is of vital importance to us, which is why we go the extra mile to ensure that our employees always have their safety wear on. With hazardssuch as bricks falling from great heights and poisonous fumes always present, the construction environment poses constant potential health threats. To reduce the chances of occupational injury,we provide safety wear to all our employees and ensure that, through our site managers, safetyspecifications are observed and met at all times. The site manager conducts routine checksthroughout the day to make sure that employees are safe at all times and that there is no risk posed to their health or safety.

To maintain an effective communication and transportation we provide our workforce with reliabletransport. This enables us to increase production level and meet set targets .We got 2(two) big tracksand 7 (seven) bakkies for transportation of our workers and material from construction sites. We still aiming to improve effectiveness and efficiency through procurement of more machinery and vehicles.
