WHO WE ARE

Plastopil is a global company, specializing in development, manufacture and sales of an extensive array of hi-tech flexible packaging for the chilled food market

HISTORY & HERITAGE

The company first blown film product – small sandwich bags would point Plastopil in the direction of its future as a successful global manufacturer of chilled food packaging solutions.

Like the kibbutz on which it was founded in 1960, Plastopil has long understood the key to endurance in a competitive industry is flexibility. In fact, it is this very notion that is at the origin of our company’s story.

Originally an Israeli agricultural settlement started in 1934 by European immigrants, Kibbutz Hazorea determined in the late 1950s to acquire an industrial factory for developing plastic products in Israel.

PLASTOPIL TODAY

Since 2001, Plastopil’s entire focus has been on creating packaging solutions for the chilled foods sector.

With a legacy of innovation, our mission is to strengthen our already long-standing relationships with our customer base in the North America, Russia, Western Europe Asia and the Israeli market while expanding our network.

To this end, in 2010, we acquired a co-extruded film manufacturer in the Netherlands, forming Plastopil BV.
