1. Company overviewThe Chronic Drugs Medical Scheme (CDMS) was incorporated in Kenya in 2017 as a group purchasing organization to serve the health care industry. We are social enterprise whose aim is to supply quality pharmaceutical products to end users at the most competitive prices possible. Our philosophy is based on a clear proposition to healthcare providers: to improve accessibility and availability of affordable, quality medications and laboratory and health supplies. Through our partnerships in the pharmaceutical value chain we are able to deliver supplies at extremely com-petitive prices.

5. How we workA group purchasing organization (GPO) allows end users to procure goods at better prices than otherwise available to them as individual entities. We do this by leveraging the combined demand of our customers and negotiating discounts with manufacturers, distributors, and other players in the supply chain. Due to economies of scale, each customer enjoys discounts similar to the largest buyers.

6. The Management TeamThe CDMS team comprises of individuals with solid public and private sector market experi-ence in the Pharmaceutical, Insurance, Marketing and Finance Industries.
