BACKGROUND
Protective Coating Systems (PCS) was established in September of 1996 by Martin Dillon a long term
resident of the Bunbury area. Martin had previous experience in refractory, concrete repairs,
grouting and epoxy coatings and was looking to start his own company to provide a specialized
service within the South West of WA.
The company started out completing small works in and around Bunbury before moving to its first
major job for ABB at the Collie Power station back in 1997. This job was the stepping stone for the
company to specialize in providing large construction projects with a reliable Civil Maintenance
Service.
“Our main objectives are to create a successful relationship with our clients based on
trust, experience and knowledge, in relation to the repair, remediation and
maintenance of their assets”
“We believe that constant training and nurturing of our employees will result in the
success of our company and benefits to our clients through safety and skill levels
second to none”
(Martin)
