Protagonist of an entrepreneurial development of great success, Ceramica Sant’Agostino was set up in 1964 near Ferrara, in an area far from the place in Emilia where most of the Italian ceramic factories are situated.

This choice meant for the company a strong project autonomy and an innovative strategic vision.The factory, always managed by the founder’s family, continues to develop its research for innovative products and innovative processes.

Ceramica Sant’Agostino manufactures its products in Italy at 100% and in Sant’Agostino head office conceives and creates a wide range of high level products, able to satisfy the on going technical and stylistic market requirements.

Being in the forefront in a production field means today to be able to face the environmental problems and give concrete signals to customers now more prepared and careful than in the past.The great attention arisen on this subject has created several messages, sometimes conflicting each other, on the use of the word “ecological”. However, there are certifications for an objective evaluation of a factory’s ECO quality. For years Ceramica Sant’Agostino has been using materials and systems in order to safeguard the environment. Ceramica Sant’Agostino does not use any toxic or harmful material in the production processes and has at its disposal the most advanced technologies to reduce as much as possible the environmental impact of its activities. Most of the necessary energy is self-produced or recycled from heat recovery systems and waste, both solid and liquid, is totally recycled in the production phases.

These ones are only the most evident aspects of a complex system that our company carried out in order to achieve the best results in this field.
