8/6/2019 Compac Nature 7 Colours
1/1
COMPAC has recently
extended its Nature
range of quartz sur-
faces from two colours
to seven.
The new designswere well received both
at KBB London and at
the special launch event
at the Lakeside Conti-
nental Hotel, which
PW&SS attended.
All are available now
rom stock in both 20
mm and 30 mm depth.
Nature uses a veg-
etable based resin de-
veloped by Compac,
BIO, to bind together
grains o quartz andother minerals, plus
colouring agents, into a
fexible and adaptable
surace that can be used
both or fooring and
worktops.
As well as being sustainably
sourced, the inclusion o BIO adds
denite benets during the abri-
cating and installing processes.
These key eatures arise rom
the act that in Nature, there are no
pore spaces From the end users
perspective, this means no oppor-tunity or water penetration, and
no hiding place or germs and
bacteria, a concern in any kitchen.
For the abricator, the absence
o pore spaces leads directly to in-
creased internal strength and to
less internal shrinkage, minimising
the likelihood o cracks appearing
during cutting and leading to
more fexibility in the polishing o
the edges. It is also resistant to
bending, making it easier to store
and transport to the customer.
With all its ranges, Compac has
the condence to oer the end
user a lietime guarantee: this con-
dence is urther enhanced withthe Nature range.
It is highly resistant to the levels
o UV radiation common in Com-
pacs home country, Spain, and
thereore will not age rom sun-
light when installed in the UK!
Nature is also unaltered by the
action o acid rom ood and com-
mon cleaning products.
The design oNature is very or-
ganic, and operates in three di-
mensions. The blending o two or
more colours results in patterns
which are consistent throughout
the manuacturing run, but with
details that are always unique: no
two areas o any particular work-top will be completely identical.
The pattern also fows through the
depth o the product (as exposed
at the edges). These eatures are a
bonus or those targeting the be-
spoke market, and refect the in-
spiration behind the range: Nature
itsel.
At KBB and at the launch event,
Compac added Perlino (top pic-
ture) and Imperial (bottom pic-
ture), along with marble-like
Carrara, mid-brown Noce and
white-on-black Portoro to the ex-
isting colours, Botticino in cream
and dark Pierre Bleue.
The designs were very well re-ceived. UK general manager, Toni
Lle, commented: We have been
delighted by the very positive re-
ception our Nature Collection has
received both at KBB and at the
Lakeside venue.
From architects and interior
designers to kitchen showroom
managers and abricators, every-
one has been impressed
with the new colours,
their perormance char-
acteristics and the act
that the worksuraces
are so environmentally
riendly.
Marketing executive,
Emma Shaw, added that
Compac is oering a ree
coee machine be-
tween now and the end
o December to any
end user who purchases
at least 5 linear metres,
and any showroom
which sets up a perma-
nent display.
