Appreciation for Citi volunteers’ efforts on Global Community Day continues to roll in. The latest
newsletter of United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County, for example, highlights our
colleagues’ work to feed the hungry and teach financial education.

Announcing The CCD Ad Templates
Our communications team has worked with internal and external stakeholders to develop a set of
templates for CCD ads. These templates use standardized language and photo options for each of our
focus areas. To order an ad, please use the CCD Ad Request Form on SharePoint.

Contributions
As of September 10, 2012 , CCD Regions had paid contributions totaling $8.89MM (97% of budget), 3%
of budget has been invoiced or approved for invoicing and $0.044 appears over committed. View
CRA Review Stage Analysis of total CCD, 2011 Paid Contributions: 84% records are verified.
Eight percent of records were marked as non CRA‐eligible at creation. View
CRA Review Stage Analysis of total CCD, 2012 Paid Contributions: 60% of eligible records
started the CRA workflow, of which 10% are verified, 8% is in the local checker queue, and 42%
is in the central verifier queue. Ten percent of records were marked as non CRA‐eligible at

Citi Foundation Grants
2013 Wave 1 CCD Grant Plans: All Regional Directors must submit CCD Wave 1 planned grants
by no later than this Friday, September 14. To ensure the Grants budgets “box,” each state’s
entire 2013 budget allocation should be entered even if program details are tentative. The
Foundation will provide feedback/confirm Wave 1 planned grants as appropriate by October 8.
Wave 1 CCD Grant Program Nonprofit Partner Trainings: The trainings for CCD nonprofit
partners will be organized by Citi Foundation focus area. The following is the training schedule:
- College Success and Financial Capability & Asset Building – October 23, 2‐3:30pm ET
- Enterprise Development, Microfinance, and Neighborhood Revitalization – October 24,

Once grant plans are confirmed by the Foundation, please make certain to invite Wave 1
nonprofit partners as appropriate. Please note that nonprofit partners should not be invited to
apply for a 2013 Foundation grant unless the grant plan entered into the SharePoint Grants
Management tool has been confirmed by the Foundation.
2013 Wave 2 & 3 CCD Grant Plans: All Regional Directors must submit CCD Waves 2 & 3 planned
grants by no later than Friday, October 19.
Citi Foundation Interim and Final Reports: Relationship managers must review all interim and
final reports
with
particular
attention
to
those
noted
as
‘off
‐track’
to
achieving
results
or
spending grant dollars. The CCD Interim and Final Report Specification report is now being
emailed on a monthly basis directly to each region as opposed to being posted onto
SharePoint. This report includes reporting deadlines, submission dates and “on/off track”
indication. All submitted reports are accessible in reviewer connect. Information on the formal
review process will be distributed within the next few weeks.
