You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of
community you want to live in.
YAS - Young Athlete Sports School Inc.
(YAS)
YAS will hold weekly basketball camps throughout this July and August at gyms
in Saskatoon.
Everyone is invited to join, build their basketball skills, meet new friends and have lots and lots of fun at YAS
summer camps.
YAS will have a camp for every level of athletic ability and playing experience in
these age groups:
8 to 10 10 to 12 12 to 14 14 to 16
Each YAS camp will have a
nominal registration fee with bursary assistance upon request courtesy of the
Saskatchewan Community Initiatives Fund (CIF).
In addition, YAS will also offer
a free camp for each age group.

‘The Big Shred’ in the parking lot of McClure United Church at 4025 Taylor St. (at
McKercher)! Protect against personal identity theft and watch as your old papers go into the

Westview Heights Indoor Programs - Spring Program sign-up is Tuesday April 5 & Monday April 11 from 6:00-8:00PM at Caroline Robins School, 1410 Byers Crescent. Registration will be held in the main entry of Caroline Robins School. Please

From June 6-10, 2016 one lucky grade 8/secondary 2 class will go on an all-expenses-paid trip of a lifetime to Jasper National Park. Students will cruise the Athabasca River on white water rafts and will discover the Columbia Icefield as they ride the giant Ice Explorer and walk on glaciers. Students will also be inspired by the unmatched and breathtaking views on the Jasper SkyTram, will delve into the past at the historic Palisades Centre, and much more!

Community Outdoor Soccer Registration Mon Feb 22 and Wed Feb 24 2016
From 7:00 to 8:30pm at Caroline Robins School Front Entrance
The outdoor soccer season runs the first week of May until the end of June (weather permitted). Games are once or twice per week and practices are optional. Games are
played at other sport fields on the west side.
To ensure that your child has a spot on a team, registration must be done on one of these two nights. A valid community membership is required and will be sold at registration night at a cost of $10 per
household. The Westview Heights Community Association is able to provide financial support to families residing in Westview.

Caroline Robins School
Caroline Robins School is busy as Basketball season is in full swing and the KHL Hockey Team is getting ready
for the first game of the season on Feb. 6th.
School 50th Birthday! A 50th Birthday planning meeting was held. June 1st is
the date of the big event. The next meeting is March 14th and everyone is invited to attend. It will be at 7p.m. in
the staffroom.
Volunteers and helpers are always needed in the school. Do you have an hour or two that you could help students practice their reading? Helping out in the library or the Nutrition Room? Please stop in or call the school
at 306-683-7157.
Our school enrollment is at 475 students.
