(1) Senior Citizen's Convention Set for Constant Spring SDA Church - November 23, 2013

Zones 1-3 Senior Citizens Convention will be held on Sabbath, November 23, 2013 at the ConstantSpring SDA Church, 9:30 a.m. and Zone 4 Convention at Morant Bay SDA on November 30, 2013at 9:30 a.m. The Banquet (Zones 1-4) will be held on Sunday, November 24, at the Police OfficersClub, starting at 3 p.m.cost $1000. (2) Pathfinder Festival Set for Jessie Ripoll Primary School - November 24, 2013

Please note that the annual Pathfinder Festival will be held on the grounds of the Jessie RipollPrimary School, 26 South Camp Road Kingston 4 on November 24, 2013commencing at9:00am. (Premises are located near the Stoplights at the Traffic Court on Camp Road).ON YOUR MARKS, GET SET...LETS GOOOOO!!!!

(3) Notices from the Sabbath School / Personal Ministries / Community Services Department

1. Lay Workers MM14 joint meeting Zone 3, November 24, 2013: (A)Personal Ministries leadersmeet at 9 a.m., (B)Prison Ministry Association general meeting & election of officers @ 10 a.m.

(this was previously planned for November 10) in the EJC chapel; (C)Adventist CommunityServices (ACS) leaders and volunteers @ 10 a.m. in the Chapel for their election of officers; (D)Personal Ministries leaders in MM14 @ 12 noon in the Chapel. All MM14 cluster Communityprojects coordinators are invited to attend, in the Chapel at 12 noon.

2. We use this opportunity to encourage each member in our churches to continue soliciting HarvestIngathering Fundsand that all treasurers do a weekly remittanceto the Conference.

3. Special thanks to our churches for your support to the Festival of the Laity held last week -November 13 -17, 2013.

4. Personal Ministries leaders are being reminded of the report (including pictures where possible), of

your project (in your cluster) for the Week of Generosity/Day of Kindness, celebrated October 12-17, 2013.

5. Reminding all Sabbath School Superintendents to ensure the conduct of the Parent CareGroup (PCG) & Operation Reclamation and to register the relevant names to the MM14Initiative.

(4) Important Notice From the Health Ministries Department

On Sunday the 24th of November at 9:30 a.m. there will be a HIV/AIDS seminar at the Half WayTree SDA Church. All are invited especially our pastors and elders. This seminar will be conductedby the Ministry of Health in collaboration with the EJC Health Ministries Department. All

participants will be certified.

(5) Youth Ministries Department Update

1. Youth in Leadership Month:The month of November has been designated as Youth inLeadership Month. Consequently, all churches are encouraged to allow the youth to take charge ofthe various church programs, elect a mock church board and officers to function, under guidance,for the month. This is a means of training our youth to effectively function as leaders within ourchurches. SUCCESS!

2. Youth Congressoree:You are encouraged to start planning for this NOT TO BE MISSED

function, which is scheduled for December 20 & 21. Friday night @ Half Way Tree Church and onSabbath @ Karram Speid Auditorium, Merl Grove High. Guest speaker will be Pastor Keith Morrisout of the USA. Plan to be there!!!

4. Youth Awards Banquet: The annual Youth Awards Banquet will be held on December 22, 2013at Hotel Four Seasons, 18 Ruthven Road, Kingston 10, starting at 5:00pm. The ticket cost remainsthe same as last year, at $3,000.00 each. Guest Speaker Dr. Calnette Williams; MCs Adiese Jonas &Jovan Whyte. Application Forms & tickets can be obtained from your area coordinator/youth lardersor be downloaded (application forms) from the Youth Ministries Department (EJC website @ejcsda.com). Deadline for submission of ALL FORMS is November 29, 2013.See Poster below for additional information.

(6) Notices from the Women's Ministries Department

1. GEMS monthly session will take place on Sabbath November 30, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

2. Directors appreciation exercise will be held December 7, 2013. Venue to be decided

3. Graduation for Soft Skills and Levels 1, 2 & 3 Leadership Certification Training will be heldDecember 7, 2013 in the EJC Boardroom.

4. Womens & Childrens Ministries Zone 4 Commitment Service will take place on January 11, 2014at the Morant Bay SDA Church. Childrens Ministries shades of pink & navy blue; WomensMinistries shades of lavender & purple. Kindly make arrangement take your fruit/food basket forour luncheon meeting.

Dedicatory Service - Constant Spring SDA Church

The Constant Spring SDA Church invites you to join them for their church dedication over the week-end of

November 29 - December 1, 2013. There will be a thanksgiving Vesper Service on Friday Nov. 29, acelebratory service on Sabbath November 30, 2013 the dedicatory service on Sunday December 1, 2013 at3:00 pm.

The special line up of speakers include Pastor Wadsworth McNuff, Former Pastor of the Church - Friday night,Pastor L. H. Walton, Founding Pastor of the Church - Sabbath Divine Service and Pastor Milton Gregroy,Secretary, JAMU on Sunday.

(10) Communication Workshop For Zones 1 - 4 - Nov. 24- 2013

All 2013 and 2014 Communication Leaders and assistants are invited to attend the final workshop for theyear. This workshop will be practical so take your digital camera if you own or have access to one. Takeyour laptop personal computer along as well if you own or have access to one.

We will be sharing information with you for you to take back to your church regarding the upcoming

MetroMission 14 Campaign. It is therefore imperative that representatives from every church attend.

Pastors and elders, please ensure at least one person from your church is in attendance at this event.
