Performance Bonds

Performance Bonds are a form of security provided by a contractor to a developer and consist of an undertaking by a bank or insurance company to make a payment to the employer in circumstances where the contractor has defaulted under the contract. Consequently, they are a contract rather than an insurance product (and don’t attract IPT).

We can source construction Performance Bonds for your clients. We have access to a comprehensive marketplace to ensure we can help brokers provide their clients with the contract that suits their needs. Needless to say, we also have the knowledge to provide expert advice and information.
