In order to conserve energy and comply with Command Policy No. 200, USAG-J Energy and Water Conservation Policy, an intermittent cooling period will be implemented prior to transitioning into heating season effective Oct. 9.

This initiative will be implemented for at least two weeks until Oct. 22, depending on weather conditions.

Intermittent cooling (air-conditioning service) will continue throughout USAG-J as long as the outside heat index remains 76 degrees Fahrenheit during the day for five days.

During evening hours, cooling will continue if the temperature reaches 74 degrees Fahrenheit or above. Cooling will be discontinued when temperatures go below the above criteria.

Effective May 1, MetLife will begin providing dental coverage to more than 2 million family
