Please use these guidelines for any slides you submit to the command channel

Slides that do not follow these design & layout guidelines will not be approved

Command Channel Slide Guidelines

Please ONLY use the Arial font with bold option

Do not make the font smaller than 18 pointThis is 18 point Arial with bold, this is as small as you should go

24 point or more is much better for readability

The intent is to make slides that are easy to read

Use as few words as possible

If you need to say more, use more slides

Type should either be white or this exact yellow NO other font colors will be accepted

Please do no resize the text box or add any elements outside the text box

Light-colored text on dark backgrounds is much easier to read on television

If you want to use your own background:

It must be dark-colored

It must not have too much distracting detail

If you want to add images to a slide,

like clip art or photos:

- They must have adequate resolution

- They must NOT have rectangular white borders

- They must NOT look jagged or unclear

- They must NOT be skewed or out of aspect

To submit a slide to the Command Channel:

Use the last slide in this slide deck as a template

You can change the slide’s background color by selecting a different layout on the home tab

When you are ready to submit your slides:

- Delete all of the guidelines slides

- Save the file using a unique file name

- Email your file to daisuke.sato1@us.army.mil
