Comer TRACKS

3 bending and roll forming machines are to roll any metal thickness up to 6 mm at a short time notice

This also makes it possible to produce special lengths on request and within a short delivery time.

All the profi les are coated with magnesium zinc (without chromium) in order to preserve all the qualities to all weather.Number of hours of resistance to salt spray and red rust: 800 h !!

The track 500 is made of steel of High Limit of Elasticity. This ensures better resistance and durability.

The capacities are indicated for a manual operation. In case of automatic operation, the capacity must be divided by 2.

Check the dimensions and particularly the opening dimension. If this dimension is not correct, adjust the track by narrowing or widening its sides.

Jointing two tracks can weaken an installation : it is essential to use jointing brackets (see on p.19-20) in order to insure perfect assembly, without track disalignement. Welding has to be excluded.

Before the use of the doors, it is recommended that the inside of the tracks be correctly cleaned and greased with bodied oil. To avoid any faulty sliding of the door, it is necessary to grease the inside of the tracks at least every 6 months.

These hangers are especially designed for lateral sliding doors with a tubular track Hangers with 4 different capacities corresponding to 4 different track sections

HOW TO CHOOSE THE HANGER AND THE TRACK : For a door without a service door : the weight of a single panel has to be taken into consideration.For a door with a service door : the weight of a panel has to be multiplied by 1.5

BOTTOM GUIDING :

with hinges : as many guides as hangers are required

with shoe guides : as many guides as hangers are required (one of them being a half shoe guide)

On the push back side, an angle plate fi xed on the fl oor can be used as a guide.

CAPACITY / PANEL : 200 kg max.

TRACK : 80 to 500

MOVEMENT : LATERAL

The curve has to be fixed on an angle steel by means of a bracket (sealing type) In case of small quoins (inferior

to the curve radius) the service door has to be placed at the push

back side

On the push back side, an angle plate fixed on the floor can be used as a guide

LATERAL sliding doors

The hangers and the hinges for the 300 series are supplied in a «top fixing» version. On request, they

can be supplied in a «side fixing» version.

The length of each vertical track should be equal to the height of the door plus 10 cm

For low ceilings, the weight of the counterweight must be doubled and the

HOW TO CALCULATE THE COUNTERWEIGHTS :

With swivelling pulleys, balancing counterweights can be placed anywhere, their travel being in general equal to the height of the door.

Two possibilities :

With adjustable pulley :It is necessary to elevate the end pulley or to arrange a pit in the ground depending of the path (the pit must be equal to the height of the door).The balancing mass must be lightly over the half-weight of the door.

With adjustable pulleys + defl ection pulleys :Use additionnal pulleys picture 7. Then the balancing mass must be doubled but the path is reduced by half.
