    Abstract

    Determination of the critical micellar concentration of some modified micellar systems used as mobile phases in

    micellar l iquid chromatography and micellar electrokinetic chromatography has been achieved. Sodium dodecyl

    sulfate (SDS) and cetyl t r imethylam mon ium bromide (CTAB) were used as surfactants , n-propanol and n -butanol as

    modifiers, a nd pho spha te buffer was included in some o f the micellar systems. 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
