Community Based Disaster Risk Management

Provide capacity building activities to high risk communities to increase disaster resilience and reduce vulnerabilities

Activities include: trainings and workshops on disaster risk reduction; strengthening the local DRRMC, hazard and vulnerability mapping; contingency planning; installation of early warning system, implementation of small scale mitigation projects, promotion of safe school campaign and community drills
